AI FEATURE DOESNT RESPOND
Ever since I got my yearly membership months ago , I regret wasting my money on it… everytime I got to text the ai bot it doesn’t let me press send until I refresh the app 5 or more times which is so frustrating 😡 tried contacting their support and no response for months and on app their contact us doesn’t work since my email isn’t linked to my Apple Mail app (which is what the “contact us” forwards to) there’s no way of contacting their support to fix this issue I’ve been a member for months on end and don’t use the app because of this it’s a waste

Took my money
Entered the app and it gave me the option to do a one week trial so I tried to do that and it charged me 45$ right away, yall take forever to respond to emails and DMs lowkey not worth the money also why must it be a paid app?? So confused on that at least give some free features and the better features can be paid for. Idk not worth it for me and I lost out on 45 that I didn’t even want to pay cuz I thought I was getting a one week trial!!!!

Unzuverlässige KI trotz Paywall
Ich habe Deen Buddy getestet, weil ich die App öfter auf TikTok gesehen habe. Leider ist die beworbene KI bei religiösen Fragen nicht zuverlässig genug. Bei Fiqh wurden teilweise Positionen der Madhabs falsch zugeordnet, Hadith-Quellen bzw. Nummern waren nicht immer korrekt und beim Tafsir wurden eigene KI-Zusammenfassungen teilweise als „Direct Tafsir“ dargestellt.
Für Basics, Qur‘an, Gebetszeiten und Quiz ist die App okay, aber bei Hala/Haram, Fiqh, Hadith und Tafsir sollte man die Antwort unbedingt gegenprüfen.
Dazu kommt, dass die App praktisch komplett hinter einer Paywall steckt. Es gibt kur eine 7-Tägige Testphase und danach kostet sie ungefähr 35€ im Jahr. Für eine App, die stark mit einer „Islam Ki“ wirbt, ist mir die KI dafür nicht zuverlässig genug.

Charged twice
I wanted to use this app on trial, cancelled the trial and got charged $70 for a year. I was okay using it for a year, but when I logged in, it prompted me to subscribe again. I hit subscribe since I already had a subscription until next year but it tried to charge me again. I had contacted the support when it charged for the first time. I didn’t get any response.

VERY INNACURATE
I tried using its ai… when i ask if something is allow or haram it doesnt give a clear answer and its very biased, one sentance hell say its halal and the other its haram.
Expensive, inaccurate
In the quiz the answer was wrong. The basic queries were wrong, one sided. Even other AI knows more.

honestly i used to have this app, deleted it, just downloaded it again and you can’t even use it WITHOUT having to pay. Allah wouldn’t want us to have to buy a way to knowledge and understanding. please make it free again, inshallah

I was so excited to see this app, deen buddy. I downloaded it, answered the questions to start my spiritual journey, but one problem, YOU NEED A SUBSCRIPTION??? JUST FOR ATHAN AND AI CHAT? Wow, not even a free one too, just “FrEe TrIaL”, that’s why I’m giving this a straight 1 star, wish I could do 0 but 1 star has to do I guess. make a free part to deen buddy too please!!

Amazing concept
This app is extraordinarily amazing for young Muslims but the lack of option to use without money just ruins it for me I am really disappointed because I was really excited to explore my religion even more with this app 💔💔

Language setting
I like this app, I love the one aya a day feature. However, I noticed I am unable to switch the app’s language to arabic. Which is quite frustrating. I used to have the app and daily aya’s in arabic but now that option is gone and it has decreased the quality of my experience on this app. I enjoyed being able to read and search things in arabic but now that option is gone and the app isnt the same when its in english for me. I can speak both english and arabic but accessing the app as a whole and getting the verses in arabic was what made this app special and since that feature is gone for me it lost its touch.
