What's New in Deep Work & Focus

1.0.5

October 4, 2026

Living focus scenes Your session screen is now a full-screen, gently moving scene with a big, clear timer at its centre. Four themes: Tide, Forest, Nightfall and Hearth. Rainfall and Drift have been retired; if you had one selected, your sessions use the plain theme until you pick a new one. A calmer session Warmer welcome-back lines, and a quiet note every ten minutes marking how far you've come. Drifts now count from 5 seconds away, the reminder arrives within 3 seconds, and locking your phone at your desk no longer counts as a drift. A cleaner look A floating tab bar, a black accent in light mode, a monochrome focus heatmap, and a new Start focusing button in the Home hero. A plain Home backdrop is now available to everyone. Removed for now The Learn section and the orb colour picker. Fixes Better contrast and readability throughout, VoiceOver improvements on the session screen, and many smaller fixes.
