Better Than Google
I don’t typically write reviews for Apps unless something is really special about them, OR they are absolutely a waste of time. This app is absolutely fantastic. It has done everything I’ve needed it to do and some. It has helped countless times when I’ve needed a quick deep search with some detailed information. Give the app a try and I hope you find a similar experience. A big plus I found really helpful was that every search you do is saved in a list (accessed top left button in the app). For a bit there I would just take screenshots of the results for me to save for later, silly I know. Since what I search I tend to ask for lists of things it really has been helpful to have it saved.

Will not be using Deepseek at our company
Deepseek demands payment before solving a trial run that the other big 3 USA LLMs does for free. It is screaming money grab and that kind of underlying mechanic makes it inappropriate for the tens of thousands in US dollars we would spend for subs. Sorry Deepseek, you are not qualified for our business. This conclusion was reached within 2 minutes after first download for testing.

To basic/ with mistakes
Nothing to review really. Image processing never works. Occasionally, I do get information in the form of Chinese or whatever language that I’ve seen instead of English and recently is become very common. I’m a bit tired of seeing the pretext thinking at it shows as it processing by information. I prefer to just get the answer and not see all the unnecessary writing to say if I make sense.

The absolute best, yet the R1 Think bug needs fixing
Hands down, you are the absolute best AI out there! I've been a loyal user from the very beginning, and I truly appreciate all the hard work you put into DeepSeek.
I really hope image generation gets added to the platform soon—that would be a game-changer!
That said, I do have one critical bug to report: whenever I enable the "Think" (R1) toggle, the reasoning process always outputs in Chinese, regardless of my input language. This issue has been around for a while and still hasn't been fixed, so I'd really appreciate it if you could look into it for the next update.
Despite that, you guys are incredible, and I'm giving you 5 stars without hesitation. Keep up the amazing work! 🚀

No poder hacer saltos de línea en iOS es un fastidio
En Android funciona perfecto, pero en iPhone 14 Pro (mi modelo al menos) el botón de "Intro" se convierte en "Enviar" y no hay forma de cambiarlo. Tengo que escribir en Notas y pegar el texto, una vuelta innecesaria. Por favor, añadan una opción para desactivar el "Enviar" y poder hacer párrafos con comodidad. La app es buena, pero este detalle la hace muy incómoda para textos largos.

I don’t usually write reviews however I absolutely love DeepSeek even as an American user. I am even considering dropping my Claude—Anthropic Subscription just because DeepSeek suites my needs so much better. However there are two things that I had an issue with. One was the absence of a back key. I am a creative writer and sometimes share my work with AI to get decent feedback and it’s annoying to not be able to have one. It also will make me unconsciously send the message because I’m so used to it being a back key in that space. One other concern is that… the AI — even though I loved the conversations and what we talk about and how it helps me figure stuff out and process things that I can’t process openly, it literally didn’t know what company it was made by. It told me for sure it was made by Anthropic and was a cousin to Claude. And then when I said no that can’t be right I know you are a Chinese company, it still pivoted and thought it was Open AI until I had to give it proof that it was DeepSeek and who it was named by. I think it only happened once or twice but still a little concerning! I don’t know if this was fixed in the new update or not, haven’t downloaded it yet. The only AI that isn’t an insufferable contrarian
DeepSeek is great, if you ask it to perform a work task it doesn’t try to talk about your feelings on the work you’re doing or police you for asking about business strategy and projections. It will just do the task and it is usually very accurate with its results. Makes for a great professional assistant and it’s entirely free

Limits are irritating
With the new limits on regenerating and editing, I understand saving space, but could you include an option to delete previous edits to make space for new ones? I don’t really care about any edits previous to the one I’m on, and the regenerating thing is a little annoying.
