What's New in DeepWord

2.2

August 4, 2026

2.1 taught you to read the sentence. 2.2 shows the whole journey — from the original word to the exact word in your Bible. Every English word is a choice. This update lets you watch the choice being made: NEW — The word, three ways. Word Study now lays a verse's word out in three clear layers: the original Hebrew or Greek, the plain word-for-word meaning, and the word your translation actually chose — color-coded, one below the next, so you see at a glance where your Bible smoothed things over. NEW — The many English faces of a word. One Hebrew word becomes "worship," "bow down," "obeisance," "fall facedown"… DeepWord now shows every way your Bible renders a single original word, and how often — tap any one to read those exact verses. NEW — Search by meaning, not just spelling. Search "eternity" and DeepWord also surfaces the verses behind the original words for it — aiōn, olam, ad. Switch each original word on or off to widen or narrow what you find. NEW — The meaning that fits your verse, lit up. In a word's list of meanings, the sense that actually applies to the verse you're reading is now marked "in your verse." NEW — Know which translations line up exactly. For the word-tagged translations (KJV and Berean), DeepWord highlights the precise word — and now tells you so, one tap to switch. Also: definitions read cleaner (no cut-off text, no stray citations), and the meanings you open stay put as you explore. If DeepWord has opened a verse for you, a quick rating helps another reader find it. Something feel off? Settings → "Send a suggestion" comes straight to me — every message gets read.
