Fun game, but annoying bug
I’ve played this game off and on for years. Android and iOS. The ads were too frequent, so I paid, I suspect I’d already paid on Android.
Anyway in the higher levels the save function is critical. Problem is, there is a bug that is completely annoying, and essentially erases your saved game without your permission.
After you save the state of a game, if you pause the game, the game sometimes overwrites the save with the latest game. I think it is doing it when the game is paged out of memory when it is paused, if the OS needs the memory for other apps.
Since I have usually failed, and need to go back to the last successful health=20 run, having it be overwrite my save with a bad run means I am going to have to do 20-25 runs again to get to the tricky part.
I’d say whatever, but its a paid app, this code has been around forever, why is it broken like this? Please fix it!
