What's New in Degenson
1.2.0
October 20, 2026
Songs, and ratchets for fills. • SONG page: all 64 pattern slots on one grid. Tap one and it takes over at the end of the loop, so you can launch patterns live. • Song mode (Pro): chain patterns with repeats, like 01 ×4, 02 ×2, 16 ×3, and Degenson plays the structure for you, starting over at the end. Tap WRITE and enter the patterns in order. • Ratchets: a step can fire 2, 3 or 4 times within its length, for rolls and fills. Turn on RATCHET at the top and tap the steps. • UNLINK MODULES: change the sequence and keep the sound that is playing. • Pattern changes now land exactly on the loop boundary, instead of one step early. • The MIDI button now sits at the bottom left, next to the transport, so it never covers a knob or a step. In a plug-in host, the song follows the host's play and stop and starts from the top each time.
