Needs an update

Personal belief is if a developer does not update their app every so often that it should be removed from the App Store. This app desperately needs to be updated.

I can assure you the app does indeed work as explained in the description. Once a photo(s) is selected the geotag removal happens automatically when you share or save, there is no extra step required on the users part.

No Video as advertised - Scam

No Videos will appear in the app and only a small percentage of photos. Do not recommend.

Simply doesn’t work

Have 14,000 photos in my phone or cloud, this app says I have 29 in my main albums, 500 in another and 60 in one more albums then 0 photos in the rest. So I can “deGeo” approx 4% of my photos. That’s not what was advertised.

I tried to use this to post a picture to FB and the app brings up FB and then shuts down. Can't do anything with it. It was a nice idea though.

Oh Man , Darn

No Video Support , and all I need is to remove a geotag from a video , now I have to go and find one that does , most annoying part, I searched on the app store for Video Geo Remover and you were at the top,,,what a headache .... Can't you guys update your app to support video? it's like 18 lines of code to support videos, are you guys lazy or just not thinking big enough? if you're going to be at the top of search make your app more awesome, dangit!

App is good but no video support

Warning: if you want to strip metadata from videos this app doesn't support it. Only the photos from your camera roll not the videos.

We do not support video at this time but are looking at adding it to a future update. Please not that the focus of the app is on photo sharing and we do not claim to offer video support.

Lousy waste of $.99

Why would anyone pay for an app that only gives the option to work with the last 7 photos in your camera roll? When I discovered that was the case I thought maybe there was an in-app purchase that, after already purchasing the app), would allow you to work with any photo in the camera roll, however that doesn't seem to be the case.

Waste of money.

deGeo works with your entire Photo Library. It is not limited in this regard. You can select any photo from any album on your device to automatically remove geotags.

App is awful

This app is horrible you have to search for one photo at a time them save a copy to your camera roll. All manual all one at a time then manually delete the older photos. This is a great app idea but implemented in the most horrid way. So frustrating.

deGeo works with your entire Photo Library. Geotags are automatically removed when you save or share photos, there is no extra action required. We make it seamless, there is nothing you have to do just select the photo and share.

Works well

Works as expected to remove geotags and allows save back to camera roll. Only downside is that there's no option to delete / replace the original (tagged) photo automatically. But it's easy enough to do that manually since the untagged versions are always saved in the newest photo position on your camera roll. Those writing 1 star reviews should learn to use an iPhone.

Cannot access most folders

The app needs updating to iOS 9 APIs to allow access to photos in iCloud folders. Without that I can't use it.

Garbage. Don't buy. I want a refund!

Tried this app several times and it's garbage. You can only view a few of your photos and it's very difficult to use or understand. You may get this to work on 8 photos but then which 8???? Can't add more to the apps gallery. What a waste of money.

Does not remove tags on photos on device!

Only removes on sharing. Useless unless you only share via this app every time. One mistake, where you forget to use this, and the information is shared.
