People Must Just Like To Complain

Honestly, even though I am an avid Delicious fan and player, I always like to check out reviews to see what people think. I must say, I feel like I should apologize on behalf of my fellow game players. I have never seen such a bunch of ridiculous whining for ABSOLUTELY nothing in all my days. What is worse, is that most of what I read in the first few of a string of comments wasn’t even correct complaining. I especially love the ones who said “the story wasn’t even fun, it was just about a STORM the entire game”. That is a load of crock. It literally took until level 20 something before we even SAW any storm. You people should be embarrassed. If it wasn’t that you were complaining about, it was the ads, and if not the ads, then someone was insulting who they think are “newly hired team”. That person actually had the nerve to tell GameHouse to get rid of people they don’t even know are new. Oh, and then the complaining about the price or the “money grab” GameHouse is after. Just quite simply the rudest bunch of comments I’ve read in a long while. I think this game is precious so far. I’m on level 27….and just as excited as I usually am to see what happens next. So far, I think game play has been up to the standard I’ve always been used to, and I don’t know what the heck is wrong with the person who says, “I can’t even get 3 stars no matter WHAT I DO!” Please, if you haven’t been able to get 3 stars in every level, then you can’t be a seasoned Delicious player, and you probably shouldn’t be admitting that you can’t do it. Anyway, I’m sorry that people don’t appreciate the game you have made for us. I’m truly enjoying myself. I especially love that we get to interact with and hear mentioned some of our favorite characters from the past…. Dr. Heart, and even mention of Sally! I look forward to making my way through the rest of this charming game. Thanks for all you do, GameHouse! And by all means, if you haven’t played yet, PLEASE do not let comments (other than mine of course) persuade you that it might not be worth it. I haven’t seen truth in any of what I read yet. Like just about EVERY other game before this one, I think it’s well worth a play!

i love these games!

i’ve played almost all of these games with this character. definitely not in order for the storyline but regardless i’ve played these for years and just now came back to them and still scratch that itch. people complaining about the ads but to me it’s not that big of a deal. please make more!!!

Great game but a few bugs

Keeps freezing on some mini games and the circus tent when I try to spend the diamonds it will not allow me to play the next level.

Not paying $15 to get rid of ads

Not gonna lie, the game looks great and it’s fun, but if you don’t pay a monthly subscription you will have to watch ads at the beginning and end of rounds, and it’s way too many of them. Not worth it. There are far better games the same style as this one with little to no ads and it’s also like $5 for subscription which is a considerable price. These games from this developer are getting ruined by greed.

enjoyable

I do love these games,. One niggle-although the song running through is very nice it gets really irritating when you hear it over and over again at every level

Glitch

I cannot made any progress toward the side objective on level 44. UPDATE: Although Google said it’s a well-a issue, I received a response from the developer requesting more info with a link. The link takes me to the help section, not anywhere to provide the requested info. Wasn’t really disappointed before that.

You need to go back. These used to be excellent games. Now they’re just ridiculous. Years of putting out perfect playing. In the last couple of games have just been a joke. Seriously, what did you do? Get rid of the old staff and bring in some new with new ideas? If so, go bring back the other gang and get rid of the people that are running things now. Otherwise the delicious Emily series won’t stand very much longer.

One Glitch, Otherwise Great

I love these games! Unfortunately, there is a glitch in the first few levels, it won’t let me play the sandwich-building mini game. I tap and tap but the mini game won’t open so I just have to let those customers get angry and storm out of the restaurant. Please fix! Otherwise, it’s another great Emily game!

Annoying Ads that get stuck

Love the game and I don’t mind the ADS except when they get stuck and don’t complete, especially SMASH Fest….

Can’t complete level 3-2

Enjoying the game but 3-2 level doesn’t allow me to give soup to the pregnant lady as required

Full of dark patterns

Long time DE player, and this is gross. Can’t buy the game outright, enforced tutorial (thanks! I’ve only played for YEARS!), and it looks like they’re just recycling games that were done properly in the past so they can extract as much as possible. 🤮

Ads & and too many repeat levels to upgrades

Getting ads for the game I am currently playing still counts as getting ads. I pay for the subscription.


Also can’t play a location and upgrade everything. In location 2 I had to play a repeat level 21 times to get three of the helpers. As they have greatly reduced the amount of coins that you get when you play a repeat. I know this has been a common complaint for years and yet they keeping make it worse.

No challenge

I’m a long time fan of Delicious games and I’ve never played one where every level was extremely short and without any challenge. The gameplay in every chapter is identical, and normally there are many things at once to be poured and cooked and inflated, there has to be some precision. This game requires only mindless clicking of a relatively few items. Weak story. Short levels. Easy gameplay. And although I purchased the game I have to wait to click closed an ad for the game I’m currently playing. What a disappointment.

Fun!

I’m glad to have a new game in the series. I agree with others with having too many levels with the pouring rain. It was fine for a bit but it got old after a while. I kept having to turn my sound down.I still wish you could get everything and not have to come back into the game to finish the last few tasks.
I still wish you would make a bigger deal at the end for getting everything. That we had to repeat levels 21 times, I think, and then you just get to mark that off the list, pretty much.Maybe get to ride around in a limo, spacecrafts?
Have more hidden things like you’ve done in the past?
Maybe meet celebrities from a list and let them have dialogue.
Invite special people to dinner?
Have more animals if you can or have it in a zoo?
I still like when they travel to different countries and learn about their culture etc

Another great entry in the series, but a few complaints

Made it to the third location, and enjoying the additional difficulty. The newer Emily games are still easy, even on Hard difficulty, so this is a welcome change.

My biggest complaint is that even though I paid $15 for this game, it still forces me to sit through ads for GameHouse at the end of some levels. This is unacceptable. “No ads” should mean no ads, especially at this price.

I also find the policing of a pregnant woman’s diet (forcing her to eat soup instead of the cookie she wants, and she will lose a heart over it) to be a very questionable choice, especially when you can give little kids lighters. Who’s responsible for this?

Great Game but…..

Tooooooo many long ads. The game use to be $9.99 (which is high). It’s now $14.99 or you have to pay $9.99 a month.

Disappointed

I’ve been playing all the Delicious games with Emily since the first one came out years ago and I loved them all. I also played all the other series of the other characters. Loved those all as well. But was super excited and waited for this one to come out. When it finally did, I was very disappointed. Most of the game is about a storm that won’t stop and none of them get to really enjoy the “festival of dream” until the very end. It’s most them surviving the storm rather than what’s prompted. This one is not as good as the others.
