Hidden Gem
I’ve played, beaten, and seen everything this game has to offer, so I can safely say that this game is an incredibly simple but enjoyable platform game. Demon Go offers the perfect balance of simplicity and complexity, allowing you to take it all in one at a time. And this isn’t a game that you’d beat in a day either, there’s more to unravel than just the story. Even after it gets beaten, you can challenge yourself to get the perfect rating in all levels, collect achievements, and stack your character with the perfect combination of the various game changing items the game has to offer. The story is simple but interesting, along with each and every unique obstacle to overcome in the dozens of levels packed in the game. Demon Go challenged my patience, skill, and mind all at the same time. I had a blast playing it and the challenging gameplay made it all the more satisfying to overcome levels. Of course, there were a handful of flaws I could point out, such as the cutscenes. The frames of the cutscenes go by really fast, sometimes after I’m done reading the dialogue it would already be off to the next frame. There are also several spelling errors, but they aren’t harsh. What I will say though is that I am pleasantly impressed with this game. It would be great if the developers could make some ads to bring attention to this game. It deserves far more attention than it’s getting, and I sincerely hope that some ads could be put up for this game or it gets another form of popularity or recognition. 10/10, you did great, devs.
