Deneb 4 arrives with Deneb Pro Deneb is still free: plan the Milky Way, Orion, the Moon, the Sun, an eclipse or a meteor shower without paying a thing. Pro adds what costs money to keep running: • The real landscape in 3D. The viewer and the map show Google's photorealistic mesh —terrain, buildings, trees— behind your framing, so you can really see what blocks the sky. • 3D landmarks. Thirty-one places we modeled ourselves where Google doesn't reach: castles such as Zafra or Morella, the windmills of Consuegra, the telescopes of the Roque de los Muchachos, lighthouses, antennas and churches, with their real outline in the viewer. • Automatic search for the best spots and dates for the Moon, the Sun or the Milky Way over your landmark, also inside an area you draw on the map. • Timelapse and star trails: set a start and an end, watch the sky move over your landscape and record it as a video. • Panorama: the shot grid with its overlap, the maximum exposure and where to aim each shot, plus the final photo already stitched in the projection you choose, from cylinder to little planet. • Unlimited saves (Deneb Free saves 15). If you were already using Deneb, there's nothing to do: you have Pro for life. Thank you for being here from the start. New look The home screen and Astro have a new design: a sunset sky in the background, glass cards and the Moon in its real phase. Easier planning • Orion with a landmark: where to stand so M42 rises over your monument. • Split screen 2D/3D and a joystick to fine-tune your shooting spot in every planner. • Aim point for the Moon and the Sun between two peaks. • Lunar calendar when choosing a date: see each night's phase before you pick it. • Your camera's focal length and sensor are used across the app. • Saved plans show a summary before you open them. • Coordinates of any point on the map, to copy them or open them in Google Maps. And also • Deneb now speaks English, Spanish and Catalan. • Widgets with the new look. • More accurate terrain in Spain, with IGN data. • The red "blocked" cross is gone from the viewer: a discreet notice replaces it. • October 25 no longer appears twice in the calendars.
