Denon is my 1st choice

I absolutely love the Denon audio app. It organizes all of my music on my phone by artist or album, and I can make playlists that it also organizes also in another category. You can't beat the equalizer that they have which helps you to optimize the sound for your speaker system or headphones that you're using. Download this app and you'll be very happy you did. I also have a denon surround sound receiver that drives my video system. Whenever I watch movies or play music through my speakers. Denon is a best in class company that produces quality products for me, you and anyone else who has the foresight to invest in their equipment.

No Apple Music

It says it in the fine print, but just be aware that this app will not play any of your Apple Music tracks. Makes sense, but I purchased this for the EQ and paid the $1.99 before realizing that. It is only $2, so not that big of a deal. But only get this app if you have your own music on your phone... not streaming from Apple Music.

Doesn’t stay on!

Drops

Only works well with older phones

If you look at the good reviews, they're all from 11 plus years ago. I recently installed the app on an old 12 Pro Max and all my songs came back, unlike on the iPhone 15 where half of the songs don't play. Needs an update asap.

Don’t Buy

Came highly recommended to improve my audio experience.Even after purchasing the equipment it came up very poor and short of expectations.

Excellent

Been using this for a long time,I’m a personal library freak and the eq is so handy. Looks good too. Top marks.

Now, just awesome-ish

Guys, please, pretty please, respond to my call for help.

Well, it happened… they seem to have stopped supporting the app. I’m on iOS 17.5.1 now. I can’t access my music library and my emails to tech support are going unanswered. I’m still using it for the ‘radio,’ and it’s a huge advantage there, but the loss of support is disappointing… seriously disappointing. It has to be a loss of a star, though I hate to do it. ————- Now approaching iOS 15, all I can say is that I continue to be very grateful to the developers behind this app. If you have any type of hearing loss or abnormality, you need to start listening to your audio through this app. If you’re blessed with great hearing, this is the best app for correcting audio engineers’ biases. I just installed the 64-bit version via the App Store. It's a great day. 😁 No, really, thank you to the Denon team. ————— I have been using this app almost daily for several years now. It's tied as my favorite app with two, maybe three other apps. My only complaint is that sometimes, rarely, I have to shut it down completely (tap home button twice and swipe up) to get it to play clearly again. For what you get by having this app, a totally acceptable quirk. I was honestly afraid that Denon was abandoning this app and that, when iOS 11 was pushed, it would be obsolete. There is no substitute for this app. All the professional reviewers say the same, this is the premium EQ app available today.

Terrific app with…

a great equalizer that impeccably integrates with the Apple Music library. Has other nice features as well. 10 stars if I could.

Stutters Track Beginning

The app is nearly ruined by clipping off the first ~100ms of the track. Please fix.

Ne fonctionne plus sous IOS 17

Dommage car cette application était super pour ajuster le son selon notre audition.

An abject piece of garbage

I was shocked by this one. I wanted and still want an EQ for podcasts; a lot of podcasts are made without a lot of attention to the sound of the voices and I often feel like I’m listening to mud and bad sound, dropouts and poor digital transmission. This app was said to have the ability to play and EQ music and podcasts, but it can’t load or play them, there is no play / stop interface. The sound was not improved, but does that matter if the app can’t access what you wanted to play anyway? A total waste of effort.

Don’t work.

Mr. Rob

When are you going to update this app
This app is really good but can be a lot better
thanks

Enhances sound even for cars

My car has an average sound system. Playing music via this app has transformed my car audio system significantly! Simply mindblown..

Don’t Waste Your Time or Money

Works no better than what comes on the iPhone. After I purchased the equalizer it didn’t change anything. Demon support is nonexistent. Apple, you should do a better job of filtering out scams.

Great sound app

Great sound EQ. Although I am not sure why it is using so much cell data when all my music is local device and I don’t use steaming. I had to turn off data for this app.

Lost all playlists and songs.

When apple did an update all my playlist and songs had been deleted. I did a restore from a previous backup and it still didn’t have my playlist or songs. Also I can no longer see any options for importing my own music.

Buggy!

Downloaded to try to get the best from some Denon headphones. They’re ok, but the app randomly doesn’t play songs and sometimes crashes, probably as there’s been NO UPDATES for over 5 years!! Shows they don’t care. Never buying Denon gear again. What a joke!!

Needs serious updating

Nice little app functions as it supposed to but he’s serious updating still using the old tune in logo. Thanks.
