Worst app ever

This app is HORRIBLE I paid for one of the online Andy RDH packages and spent nearly $500 every day I’ve had to email the company due to bugs in the app typos questions being flat out WRONG, the online part that goes along with the package is the only way to access the case studies because u can’t see the photos on your phone and after doing them online they don’t sync to the app so it shows up like they weren’t done, the photos, charts and X-rays all contradict each other and it’s been nothing but a pain and studying for the boards is stressful enough but adding all the issues from this company is INSANE, don’t waste your time or money because they clearly put zero effort into the app or the text book which is also full of typos and half of the questions in the app have nothing to do with what’s in the book. For the price they charge there should be no issues!

If you want to pass your board, get this app!

I just recently found out I passed my board! I only used the textbook and this app and I felt so prepared for my test. I knew walking out I passed. The app asks you questions that get you thinking of everything you learned and applying it to a question! I highly recommend getting this app if you want to pass!!

So happy with this App

I believe this app has adequately prepared me alongside the andy rdh book! I am so blessed to have this app. The explanations are great! The case studies are so helpful. I am glad Andy and his team works so hard to provide the best info we can get for the boards.

Useless app

The In person board review and book is good. But this app is pretty useless. It will ask you the same questions over and over. And the rationales go like this: “D is not the right answer because A is the right answer” Ya... not helpful at all. They subjects are also not in-depth. GET STUDENT RDH!!!

Hi Madirappe, the questions you are referring to are in the "rapid fire" section and as mentioned those do not contain rationales. This seminar edition app is a supplement to the course content that comes with a review package and this app is only a way to test your studying you are doing with our other material. The app does not have subjects "that go into depth" - the subjects are in your textbook and online learning system. When compared side by side to other companies, such as StudentRDH, we have almost double the content, questions and rationales so please utilize all the content in your package and don't rely solely on this study app. The app only tests your studying with the other material. Doesn’t work

App freezes at the end of a quiz, every single time without allowing me to save or view my results. No option to contact support within the app at least that I saw. Maybe someone will see this and offer some support..

Hello, our server was going through a temporary upgrade that slowed things down for about 24 hours. I give my personal cell phone number to students so you can always contact me directly with any questions, comments or concerns 24 hours a day at 850-332-2639.

Frustrating

I initially really liked the app, the content is good and its user friendly. I do agree that the “rationals” are not helpful at all and more info needs to be added, but I am most frustrated when I finish a test subject half the time I do not receive a score. The app just says “loading”. I’d really like to know my score after I finish the questions so I can track my progress.

Don’t waste your time

The app is seriously a waste of time. Not a single question that I had on my exam was in any of the hundreds that I studied on this app. And as others have said, when you get a question wrong and try to view the rationale it really doesn’t tell you why it’s wrong.

Hello! As stated in the app, the only sections that do not contain rationales are the rapid fire questions. The other 3,000+ questions all contain rationales. We always mention to learn and understand the concepts behind each question and rationale rather than relying on memorizing app question answers. Using our study app is only a way to test your studying of your package contents. :)

Very helpful-really like the app

I agree with other reviews regarding having rationales/explanations. In addition, regarding the new update with additional “rapid fire” questions-being able to save your spot if you need to stop & come back AND saving your percentage of correctly answered questions would be great. There is no way to track/remember where you are in the rapid fire questions. Besides that, it is a great study tool.

This app has a lot of good case studies and all the test by subject help me memorize a lot of important things for the exam! That’s Andy !

AMAZING

I downloaded the app after I registered for the review months before my exam. It was extremely helpful for me having access to hundreds of different questions related to all subjects. I would strongly recommend going to the review and using this app in conjunction. I passed my NBDHE!!

Really loved this app!

Used this app and the AndyRDH book to study for boards and I passed on the first try! This is such a great study tool to take on the go and you can use it anywhere. Definitely would recommend this app and AndyRDH- they are such a good board review.

Very helpful study tool

This app was EXTREMELY helpful while studying for the NBDHE. The case studies were both challenging and pertained to the material included in the review book. I almost solely used the app in adjunct with the Andy RDH review book when studying for the NBDHE. Do yourself a favor and attend this review and download this app!

App needs work

I feel like this app could be very beneficial, however it would be nice if the rationales included a little more than “incorrect, try another question” when you get an answer wrong.

Feedback

The feedback on questions that one gets wrong is essentially useless. If you get a question wrong and you ask for the rationale, it basically just tells you that the question was wrong and says “let’s try a new question!” with zero explanation. If there is explanation (especially in radiology) it has nothing to do with the image given. It’s American standardized testing at its worst. Don’t worry about why it’s right or wrong, just get it right! I don’t want to memorize - I want to understand. It’s so embarrassing and I’m annoyed that this is the review I chose.

Needs corrections

This app is not up to date on current AHA blood pressure classifications. Also some rationales need proof read. For example, I had a question that asked (paraphrasing) “_____ is a common outcome of untreated diabetes,” I answered blindness the app said “incorrect. Untreated diabetes will cause blindness” but then then said correct answer the question is tinnitus. Very confusing.

Hi Sleeping Good! The question you are referring to is an all of the following "Except" question and students can often get confused on Boards. The question read: Untreated diabetes may result in all of the following EXCEPT: and the choices were: blindness, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease or tinnitus. The answer is tinnitus because untreated diabetes does not lead to tinnitus. Untreated diabetes can lead to blindness. As far as the ADHA blood pressure guidelines at the current moment we still don't know from the ADA if the NBDHE is testing on the new or the old guidelines. As of June 2018 they were still testing on the old guidelines and their test construction committee has not updated us yet on when the change will take place. The Boards can tend to be a few years behind on the updates so we are waiting the new candidate guide to find out. Please remember to read each question carefully and look for the "except" in the wording. Also, feel free to contact us anytime with any questions or if you need more clarification.
