Almost excellent!!
A fantastic effort, it’s so close to being an excellent app. Just a few tweaks here and a touch up there and you would have the perfect app.
The 4-digit security PIN is excellent!
Might I suggest try implementing something to allow you to view more than one day. Perhaps some ability to look at notes. Maybe generally a couple more feature to make it vaguely usable.
Your lovely app is like a TVR, it has amazing potential. But like many TVRs, it’s currently sat on a stand, in some bloke call Norman’s garage. A lovely shell of a car, but lacking an engine, chassis, doors, windows or even wheels. But the potential is there, and often, just like Norman who sits inside his shell of a car making “Brruummmmm Bbrrruumm!!” noises, I too find myself drawn back to your lovely app… wishing upon a star… dreaming of a finished app… a day where I can write my clinical notes on my Dentally App!! And doing all this at the end of the bed of my 5 year old lunatic of a daughter, waiting for the little maniac to fall asleep so I can go watch the football. That would be an amazing day indeed!!
Anyway, thanks for the app, can’t wait to use a fully working model instead of the prototype (though it’s a very lovely prototype!) Keep up the good work chaps!

Worse Than Useless
I cancelled my Dentally iPad add on fee after one go with this useless app. Why I would want to pay £30 for something which only shows a list of the current day’s patients and allows medical history update and treatment plans and absolutely nothing more I have no idea. I was hoping to be able to access the bulk of Dentally, but the extreme limited function is so bad, I don’t know why this app actually exists. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Functionless waste of memory
Many apps are simply a front end for a web page, reformatted for a mobile device. Dentally is a browser based based practice management system. So you have thought that this app would excel. And yet, despite that fact, it presents very little functionality beyond being able to view a list of patients. You can see patient phone numbers, but can’t initiate contact of any kind. You can only view the current day. You can’t filter per clinician, and you can’t view/add notes. It’s a waste of space.

Poorly developed app
Dentally is owned by SOE and in turn Henry Schien. They should be embarrassed to even operate an app like this. They are pushing cloud software but spent no time in developing this app in over TWO YEARS (as at 1 Sept 2023) I have a long list of issues I can write about, which I will when I have time. My biggest gripe with the Dentally app is that it is buggy (the FP17 forms suddenly go blank and only the blue signing icon is display sometimes and I have to quit the app) Also the workflow has been poorly thought out. For example the patient cannot complete all the forms at once sequently. Medical history has to be completed then the iPad given back to the reception staff who have to unlock the iPad from patient mode and then give it back to the patient to complete the FP17 form. Which clever clogs at Dentally thought up this genius idea (not). Patients have to walk up and down to give the iPad back is inefficient and irritating for staff because they can’t just leave the iPad with the patient they have to constantly help the patient when they are already busy and stressed in the reception area already. This app needs a complete redesign and NOW. No investment at all. Shameful and embarrassing.
