Slow

It’s fine if you can get anything to load at all

Chris is the goat

Chris from the AB1 bus actually made my day so much better, he’s the best. What a guy. Deserves a raise.

The App

The App isn't very user friendly. I will delete it on the 10th because all I want to do is see the bus schedules, not make a trip. Your format is all wrong. I could design a better app than this.Lol

I use this app all the time- however there’s room for improvement….

I really like several aspects of this app, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

The route planning is very helpful — you can choose your method of transportation, get step-by-step directions, ETAs, and route updates, and the app continues running in the background even when your phone is locked. I also like being able to save routes instead of searching them every time. The real-time tracking feature is a great idea as well.

However, the live tracking is not always accurate or consistently updated. Sometimes it will say a bus or train was at a stop several minutes ago, but then stop updating its location entirely.

I’m also disappointed that some route options are locked behind a paid subscription. The free version only shows limited routes, while apps like Google Maps or Apple Maps provide similar transit information at no cost.

Another issue is that if you don’t press “Go” when starting a route, the app doesn’t recognize that you’re already on the bus or train. Instead of updating your trip progress, it may only show the next arrival times, which can be confusing.

Overall, though, the app still has a lot of useful features and I use it often. For people who use public transportation regularly — especially those willing to pay for the subscription — it could be a really great app. The free version may still work perfectly fine for some users as well.

Scam

Once you get a subscription, they make canceling it so difficult it’s nearly impossible

Incorrect tracking

The times they have for train track are always late plan to be there ahead of what the app tells you or you will miss your train/bus

Too hard

Should be much easier to just plan a trip, but this app is very hard for that to be done intuitively

No updated routes no announcement

The RTD has a track shut down at the Southmoor station for some time now and the routing system is still hallucinating train routes traffic and time. There is no announcement that the H line is cancelled past Southmoor, there’s no warning that traffic at the Southmoor is currently being manually trafficked. Nothing! This app literally cannot handle the RTD having any routing changes. You’d be better off reading the train schedule on newspaper from 5 months ago then checking this app.

Bad timing

An hour long wait only for it to tell me I have to wait for another hour cause YOUR app led me to the wrong stop and only told me AFTER the bus left! I would have made it to my location on time if I had just walked instead of waiting for that long! Get your locations in order. I’m never using public transit ever again.

Love the App; Live Bus Tracking is VERY Helpful — App Still Lacking Though

I love RTD as a whole. The system, the thought behind (most) of it, the way it’s been implemented and handled over time. The amount of accidents and crashes, fatalities and injuries are FAR below many other major US rail networks, LR or CR included in that mix. The app needs some work though, still; implement arrival times for the trains based off of Google Maps and Apple Maps APIs if you don’t have live train tracking — however, if you DO, please do consider activating the app to see where and when the trains are as well; I notice the train schedule still guesses, where Google Maps almost ALWAYS knows when the train is going to arrive. Just a thought; some trains and buses have been missed because of the app inaccuracy. Please make a note to add more sources for arrivals and departures for the entire network; ALSO, please include the Amtrak trains that go up to the Winter Resorts! This would encourage people to preview and potentially take the Amtrak trains vs driving up I-70 with enough information about the trains, luggage, pricing, etc… it could really help make Amtrak a better travel solution overall in CO, but for sure as a faster and safer alternative than I-70 or other mountain roads nearby.

Does not show departure times consistently

App frequently does not show a stop as having any departures, even when the bus is within view of or parked at the stop. Figuring out departure times is the only reason I have the app as RTD removed bus schedules from stops. (jerk move in my opinion.)

Great Concept, love live bus tracking. Please expand customizations.

I love what this app could be. All the basics are there and I’d love to see some fine tuning of features. The Alarms feature is great for notifications of the next departure from my selected stop, but I have to see more than just the line I’m interested in. Other features work under very specific situations which never seem to work for my needs. I love the bus live tracking. I recommend for people not wanting to look at the time table chart.

Basic and stupid

Can’t select the bus I want to take. Asks you to pay for the membership to use selecting features. Will stick to maps. Way better

Garbage

I understand showing ads for an unpaid app. But this app will actually hide trips from you if you don’t pay. It made me miss my appointment. Only use RTD official app

Why name this the same as the app that lets you buy the tickets?

Good for trip planning but I wanted to buy transit tickets and the name being the same led me astray

Horrible billing system

The subscription plan is very sneaky and makes you think you’re paying less than you actually are. It’s quite the sham.

Outstanding Performance

Some drivers you know are going through the job as a driver or hired person but every once in a while there’s one that breaks all the rules and has a recall memory and has the abilities to make sure that you are important to his well being as he is to yours

3 stars because

It’s accurate within a minute or 2 so it’s in the winter

Blatant copy of Transit app

It works well but is a complete, shameless ripoff of the Transit app. I would suggest coming up with your own UI. I don’t like to see people stealing others’ design and asking to be paid for it.
