User reviews

This is what our CERT has been looking for!

We have an increased number of planned and sometimes concurrent events each year, so we were looking for a way to keep track of CERT movements in real-time when deployed. This app was the perfect solution that is easy to use and allows users to control how much information they would like to share in addition to their real-world physical location.

We also train with or assist neighboring CERT locality programs, so the ability to partner and temporarily share our team locations during those events is fantastic. Note: once our CERT team members join a CERT team on DeployPro, their location is no longer viewable by the public (only people in their DeployPro CERT or partnered CERT can see them).

The CERT reference guide that is build into the app is also a wonderful resource for a quick review whenever you need it. The new START Triage button feature is a great addition that allows you to double check your assessment if needed.

Developer is The Best!

I sent the App a question concerning GPS tracking actual live locations of Team Members during an active mission.
Within an hour I received a call from the developer himself. When does THAT ever happen, I ask!

After we connected we spoke about 20 minutes, going in depth about the features of this incredible tool. Furthermore, more he was excited to explain the evolution of developing DeployPro and the direction it is heading in providing even more features, while trimming unnecessary fat so to speak.

What better person than a CERT Volunteer to create such a dynamic and EASY to use app!
From an automatic Triage algorithm to tracking Volunteer Hours at Events! Handy quick access to First Aid resources and more

I will be discussing with our CERT members the possibilities and benefits of implementing DeployPro.

DeployPro should be in every CERT Volunteers Jump Bag! No different than Gloves, Flashlights, Helmets… DeployPro will most likely be the MOST important, and MOST used tool in my CERT list of Gear!

Invasive

Update: When starting the registration process it DID present an additional form requesting all the items listed. Optional vs required was not clear. Website eUserManual helps with capabilities before registration, but still minimally explained. Website Packages comparison helps with, but does not resolve, issue with capabilities explanation before registration.
Requires the creation of an account and excessive registration privacy invading information (username/Email and password, contact info, address, phone numbers , etc …) before even showing what the app capabilities are. Use of Constant Contact (a privacy data sharing marketing and tracking company that historically has not honored privacy data restriction preferences) is not encouraging.

Response from developer

Hi CWC, I appreciate your concern. Rest assured, your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We have no affiliation with Constant Contact other than to use their service to keep our users updated on the latest on the app. I'm not sure what your issues are with them, but we are not Constant Contact. And you can opt out of that communication at any time. There are 3 pieces of information that are required to create an account. Name, email and phone #. Nowhere does the app ask you for your address, so that is blatantly dishonest feedback.Like EVERY OTHER ONLINE PLATFORM, the app requires the creation of an account for security purposes and is safely used by thousands of users. Your feedback is based of your experience with a completely different company without basis to project your concerns on to us, which is too bad. If you gave the platform a chance, you'd find it is hands down the best on the market at this price point.

Incredible app

Creator obviously put his heart and soul into this. Our agency had horrible coordination and most of us use this app now. Communication is easier, coordination is easier, dispatch has a much easier time getting us to where we need to be with the highest efficiency in our agency’s history (over 100 years). I recommend this app. I recommend the premium upgrade. I recommend everything. 5 stars, easy.
