Best in clear and lightly-tinted water. If you can't see the bottom through the surface with your own eyes, DepthGaze can't either. Heavily silted, post-storm, or peat-stained water limits how deep the app can usefully process. Physics has limits. PRIVACY All image processing happens on your iPhone. Camera frames are never uploaded or shared. No analytics SDKs. No telemetry. No ad trackers. No accounts. We run no servers for the app; it sends us nothing.
