Great app for your Derby party or office pool
My girlfriend throws a huge derby party and this is great for taking small bets and paying out accurately, proportionate to bets taken in and posted odds. Very intuitive. Did a test run this morning and it's exactly what we needed.
Two minor critiques that are easy to work around.
1. It doesn't adapt to dark mode. The font switches to white but the background doesn't go dark so you just can't read anything. Just turn dark mode off if applicable.
2. Avoid "save and add another" unless you know FOR SURE you're going to add another item. Or at least be ready for some odd behavior.
If you choose "Save and add another" but then don't then add another item (bettor, bet, etc), you have to cancel out. It then sends you back to the relevant list of items and the entry you just added is missing. But navigate away and then back, and the entry is actually there after all. Play with it until you see what I mean bc this could really screw you up (duplicate entries, missing entries, etc). So "Save and add another" is GREAT for the data you can add in advance: adding the horses with odds and (at least from the guest list) bettors. But for adding bettors and bets during the party, just use "Save" (top right corner) and you're good.
Very very minor additional suggestion: the default denominator in the odds should be set to 1, but such that you can override it.
But: great app! Strongly recommended.

Fantastic app
I’ve used this app every year for the past 5 years. The developer is great and gets right back to you. It is easy to use and I love that it can take a House percentage for charity. Highly recommended. Couldn’t have my annual Derby party without it!
Easy to use
This app was a bit hit at our Derby party. It was easy to use, and our guests had so much fun placing their bets - and collecting their payouts. I especially liked the "rounding" feature. Also, technical support is very responsive. I had a question the night before the Derby party, and it was answered within hours. Last year, I used an app that was extremely confusing and difficult to figure out. This one is miles ahead of that one. Highly recommended.

Great app! A must have for any Derby Party.
This is a great app that makes "pretend" betting on super easy. A definite must have for any real Derby party! One I was concerned about the race not import and emailed the company they quickly responded that the don't post the races until after the post positions are published. Once they were published I was able to import and everything works great. 5 stars!

Excellent
Does just what I needed. Simple entry of bettor data, and simple calculation. But supports win, place, show, exacta, trifecta, across the board and boxed bets!
