It seems DesClock is yearning to be a motion clock company.
I’ve had the free DesClock app for a while now, and I thought it was cool until I saw this one! They’re all just graphics so it’s not that impressive, I’ll admit that, but man, do these guys have some cool ideas!! My favorite is the 2nd one, the wood one with the Roman numerals. When it opens up on the hour or pressing the demo button, the face opens to reveal rotating gears and hammers striking rods to play the melody (they’re not synced and that’s bothersome to me but that’s not the point) and then there is a section of strings being played by a mechanical bow! Wouldn’t that be cool to see in a REAL clock?!?
The last one is a steampunk clock, which also has a cool idea by having steam pipes toot out a melody on the hour like on a steam train or a pipe organ. I will say, the animation for this one seems the most rushed, as it doesn’t even have a closing animation, it just cuts back to the regular clock, whereas the other two show the face coming back together. Also, on the second clock, it seems that the hourly animation was clipped short as the middle gear stutters a bit. A small nitpick that warrants me removing a star. But anyway, DesClock, you guys are so creative. Reminds me a lot of Seiko and Rhythm in the 90s. They had a lot of creative ideas that were real clocks. I think you should put that creativity into a real clock like they did, maybe even taking some inspiration from them? Who knows!
I’m very passionate about clocks as you can tell, which is why I just want to let you know that your ideas are appreciated deeply and wondering if you could manufacture real clocks with those ideas in mind, I’m telling you, they would sell like hot cakes!
I hope someone at the DesClock company sees this and it makes their day because I put a lot of thought into this review.

Thank you for your review, unfortunately we became aware some of the newer phones would not work with the app and I apologize. We are just a small part time company and sadly we both have been through a pretty tough couple of years. With that being said the app has been updated and hopefully all the issues have been taken care of. If any of you purchased the app and are not 100% satisfied please contact Apple for a refund, we cannot issue this ourselves.
Nice try, but no. Not worth it. Too many flaws
I do not recommend this app at all. Hasn’t been updated in over two years. Just used it for 10 minutes and deleted it. Waste of time and 99 cents. (I seldom give bad reviews, but this app should no longer even be offered for purchase.)
Clock not working
The clock does not work because it crashes for some reason and when I download a DES clock it works good when I press the settings button it did not close the app and yeah when I press the settings button on DES clock I did not close the app and for DES Clock LTD and it crashed when I press the settings button

Please fix clock ver 3.0
Bought not working right. Graphics are distorted. Pressing the settings button closes the app. This is on iPhone 12pro max. Please fix. My grandson is so disappointed. This current version 3.0 on App Store
Lovely mechanical clock
This clock is nice. I like all three face designs. I have real mechanical clocks, and this app is great to use for adjusting them, because the second hand on this app is perfectly in synch with the iPhone’s time. And it’s a fun animated novelty to display on your desk.
The day display sometimes sticks for a few minutes. It updates if you restart the app and/or just wait. Frankly I don’t know why it needs a day display. We really shouldn’t need machines to keep track of what day it is.

Doesn’t work right
After purchasing the app it didn’t fill the screen and the background didn’t align with moving parts. Pretty bad to be charging for this app. Not well tested

Everyday is Saturday and there is no chime. The weather just says partly cloudy. I can look outside and see that. Please fix this app I paid and got nothing now you want me to pay again to take off ads. No thank you.
