Subscription
I signed up for the free trial and put in all my credit card information. downloaded it onto my Apple TV and linked everything up and then when I went to watch a video, it said your subscription has expired. Please renew on the web. When I go to the web, it says my subscription is active. So frustrating.

App unusable
App was unusable except on free content… the directions were useless. It’s just an overall poor experience.
Deseret TV
Love it. A relief to find someone’s thinking of us who want good clean movies that do not take away from quality acting, quality scripts quality messages. Wish there was more, but thank you for what we have. ❤️🙏🏽

It’s definitely updated
So reading other reviews made me kinda cautious but I wanted to watch a lot of the movies I grew up with so I pulled the trigger. Not only do they have a ton of original movies, but also collections of talks/speakers from TOFW and devotionals. I think Deseret video is upping their game and it’s only going to get better. My one wish is that they might get more animated content for children, I.e. Living Scriptures, Veggie Tales, etc. but overall I haven’t noticed any bugs.

Can’t Authorize Apple TV App
I signed up for the trial and can’t authorize the app on my Apple TV. It just redirects repeatedly in any browser I try it on.
Can’t even get it to work!
I signed up for the free trial and have not been able to get it to open anything the whole week we’ve had it. It opens up the title and a blank screen and we haven’t been able to watch anything. What a waste!
Not working
I downloaded app, and it said I had successfully accessed the content. I tried to play a video, and another screen popped up asking me to pay again. I tried several other videos with the same result. Please advise.
Not Deseret quality
I just got the app for my iPhone Was excited and even told some friends. Then I went to use it. Can’t open the videos. Keep getting an add pop up. Is there another site to watch the videos? I really want to hear the topics and learn. I haven’t tried other features but don’t think I will

Doesn’t work
I could only get one video to work. Pretty disappointing and a waste of time.
Not working
Comes with an advertisement after hitting a the play button and you go around in a loop!
Currently unstable
I love the bookshelf app and am excited to have this new video app. But it is currently unusable. The app crashes repeatedly when I use it. It rarely remains stable for more than 60 seconds before crashing. It seems to work better on the iPhone than it does on the iPad. I will not give up on it as it feels a great need.

App is horrible, video quality bad
I really wanted this to be awesome, but the app is not good.
1. Apple TV needs to have a native app.
2. Stream quality when either Airplay or Chromecast is Awful. Pretty bad when you can hardly make out a scene of a movie with all the blur. Almost looked like it was streaming at 480 resolution which on a brand new movie (witnesses) was unfortunate.
I have cancelled until they can figure these issues out.

Not working
I was part of the beta rating group for this app at the beginning of 2020. I enjoyed using it then and was patient with all the flaws. But many of the flaws are still there. And on my app, there are movies in the “continue watching” section that are no longer in the “full length” movies. And those movies are still having the same issues as before. I also don’t feel like there is a large enough selection of movies and other content to warrant the $5 a month fee. When I signed up it said it would be $1.99 per month for platinum members, but it charged me $3.22
I have watched a few videos on the app, but now it just keeps crashing on me. I’m not sure if that’s because of the iOS 15 updates, or if it’s Deseret Videos issue. I am sadly disappointed.
