A Desert Odyssey
I first downloaded this game on October 27th, 2023. I did not know then, much like Odysseus, how far the journey would take me; the distant shores and countless adventures i’d go on. At 2:55 am on August 23rd, 2026 the adventure has come to an end. T’was my constant companion, saving me from boredom on countless occasions. The line at the dmv, at the theater during the ads, and wherever and whenever I needed a moment to steal away and hit that sweet, sweet egg across the dunes. Goodbye my trusty friend.

Transferring Saved Game
Update. I made it to the end of the game today, hole 10,001. I played off and on from Nov 8th 2021 to May 22nd 2026. ⛳️
First off, this game rocks. I’ve had it for years and I still come back to it regularly. I’m at hole 3,437. But it, it’s great!
On another note, this game is one reason I haven’t switched to the Pixel Fold I’ve been eyeballing. I don’t want to lose my progress! Can the devs offer any insight on how I might go about transferring the game data, even if hacky?

Been playing it for 7 years
definitely worth it, the most relaxing but fun game i've ever had on my phone

Des années à jouer sur smartphone et Desert Golfing reste le seul jeu à résister aux épreuves des années.
Rien de superflu. Juste le désert, des trous plus ou moins difficiles, et on avance inlassablement.
La magie de ce jeu réside dans son rythme qui devient méditatif dès lors qu'on le lance. Rien pour essayer de nous rendre accro, de nous faire payer plus, de nous frustrer en boucle ou avaler notre attention.
Le plaisir de frapper dans la balle ne s'estompe pourtant jamais et on est seulement face à nôtre ambition d'atteindre un jour le bout de ce désert

Schlag 27806 ging in ein langes Wasserloch, das bis zum Ende des Bildschirmes ging. Man konnte nur ins Wasser schlagen.
Der Schlag wurde nicht resettet um neu zu starten, sondern der Ball liegt jetzt unter Wasser, kann aber nicht mehr geschlagen werden. 🤷🏼

Delightfully simple
Holes on narrow hills
Don’t put holes on top of narrow hills. Makes it nearly impossible unless you sink it from the air. Assuredly destroys your average score. Do better developer.

Games on phones or tablets never play well, this is the exception
Best I’m bored game of all time
No options, settings, or explanation, just the desert and a ball. I just completed the game and feel a sense of loss, it’s over? Make another!

My favourite iPhone game
I love this game. Just finished all 10,000 levels and I think I’ll delete the app and restart. Also going to try the Mars version, which I think is never ending. It’s been a joy picking this game up and going through the levels. And my kids love playing it, too.
Pretty good
10,000 levels, some of which seem impossible but aren’t. Got a lot of play out of this minimalist, clever game.

Go get a free game that’s way more fun like coffee golf.
Fun game, some issues
Made it to hole 2866 and it’s not possible to complete with the game physics. I have had other tough holes that initially I saw no way to complete them, but this hold I’m in is actually impossible. No way to refresh or a menu option or anything.

Perfect game to keep your hands and eyes occupied while listening to podcasts on a plane/train/bus
