About

Desert Ridge Hub is a digital community platform built exclusively for the Desert Ridge neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona—one of the city's fastest-growing master-planned communities. Desert Ridge is home to tens of thousands of residents and continues to experience significant residential and commercial growth, with new luxury apartment communities, hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, and mixed-use developments opening throughout the area. Recent expansion includes the Arizona Cardinals' new East Valley training and practice facilities, continued growth around Desert Ridge Marketplace and CityNorth, new Marriott hotel developments, and numerous new restaurants, retail destinations, and residential communities. As the neighborhood continues to grow, there has never been a single platform designed specifically to connect residents, visitors, and the local community. Desert Ridge Hub was created to become that digital neighborhood. The app provides one centralized experience where residents, guests, visitors, and anyone around the world can explore everything happening in Desert Ridge. Visitors can browse businesses, events, neighborhood information, and discover what the community has to offer before visiting or relocating. Verified Desert Ridge residents receive additional community privileges that are intentionally restricted to local residents. These include participating in neighborhood discussions, creating posts, interacting within the community bulletin board, messaging other residents, and contributing to resident-only conversations. This helps maintain a trusted and authentic neighborhood community while still allowing guests to experience the platform. Residents and guests can: Create an account and personalize their profile Browse local restaurants, shopping, wellness providers, entertainment, and services Discover neighborhood events and community activities View neighborhood news and HOA updates Browse community recommendations and local information View business profiles and discover new places around Desert Ridge Save community events directly to their device calendar with a single tap using native calendar integration Access a secure digital Resident Pass with Apple Wallet integration (verified residents) Receive community notifications and announcements Verified residents can additionally: Create community posts Participate in neighborhood conversations Use the resident bulletin board for buy/sell, recommendations, and lost & found Send direct messages to other residents Interact with exclusive resident-only community features The app makes extensive use of native iOS functionality, including Apple Wallet integration for the Resident Pass and one-touch calendar integration that allows users to instantly add community events and appointments to their device calendar. While the platform is centered on Desert Ridge, its location adjacent to North Scottsdale allows it to serve a much broader community of residents, visitors, local businesses, healthcare providers, hotels, and entertainment destinations throughout the surrounding area. Important for App Review: This build has been updated in response to previous review feedback. The iOS application is now a resident-focused community experience. Business onboarding, subscription management, pricing pages, Stripe checkout, business dashboards, and all business administration features have been removed from the native application and are no longer accessible or connected

What's New in Desert Ridge Hub

1.0.1

July 21, 2026

Thank you for reviewing this update. This release addresses an issue with resident location verification in the native iOS app. Changes in this update: Fixed native iOS geolocation by integrating Capacitor's native Geolocation plugin. Added the required iOS location usage descriptions to support Apple's permission requirements. Resident location is requested only while the app is in use during resident verification. The app does not track location in the background and does not use location for advertising or analytics. Geo verification is used solely to confirm that a resident is within the Desert Ridge service area before granting access to resident-only features. How to test: Launch Desert Ridge Hub. Create a Resident Pass or sign in as a resident. When prompted, choose Allow While Using App for location access. Continue through resident verification. If the device is within the Desert Ridge service area, verification will complete successfully. No other functionality has changed in this release. Thank you for your review.
