Design A Train Lite allows you to select train cars or engines and customize them by coloring them in and adding stickers. You can then arrange these customized cars to build a full train. Your creations can be saved, shared, or printed.
Coloring is done with an easy one-touch fill system; simply select a color from the palette and tap on the train part you wish to color. Stickers can be browsed and tapped to add them to your train. You can reposition stickers by dragging them or delete them by double-tapping.
The app is free to download and includes five free trains to design. Additional train cars and engines are available for purchase through in-app purchases.
The app is designed for mobile devices. Specific features like zooming are available on iPhone/iPod Touch. Printing is supported on devices running iOS 4.2+ connected to AirPrint enabled printers.
Yes, you can export your created trains from Design A Train Lite to other Playtend train apps like 'Build A Train' and 'Build A Train: Puzzles'. This allows you to continue using your customized designs in different game contexts.
