This game is the best
😊
Love this game, but those jets idk
I’ll upgrade my review to 5 stars
Response from developer
Glad you love the game! The circular-wing jets are part of the futuristic design direction — intentionally different from DC2. Dropping a star over one aircraft style feels a bit off given the game’s futuristic theme. Hopefully you’ll reconsider that 5★ soon!
Love ‘em all
Good Game but Bad AI art
Response from developer
We’re glad you enjoy our games, but this review is disappointing. Our asset pipeline used AI to accelerate asset variation—otherwise the game would have taken 5 years to produce instead of 1! Every final building is crafted in 3ds Max by our artists. The futuristic style is intentional. Reviews should reflect gameplay, not misconceptions about the art process.
Game core good but the app is garbage.
Response from developer
The game isn’t “garbage.” Crashing when visiting friends is due to your device’s memory limits, specifically not having enough free memory to load an additional city. Thousands play daily without issue. Freeing up available memory will fix your device and allow the game to run properly. Reviews should reflect the game, not device limitations.
Updated review since dev reply: more bugs
The game data has been ruined (ratings, friends etc.) in which the devs have “fixed”, not for me.
The analytics are some of the best things in the game eg. finance.
The interface needs updating. That font needs a refresh.
There is no challenge. Once you get a stock exchange the game is easy.
Animations (cars, people etc) need to be better. Road types expanded. More animations for trees, weather, better graphics.
The music is broken when you swipe off the tab and for example glance at Google and go back to the game it restarts.
It black and white screens, crashes sometimes and lags for no reason (device fully charged, nothing else open).
Sometimes the UI is broken, when I go to buildings and commercial for a example, and then leave it open on that, switch to another tab, and then go back onto the game, the commercial menu is stuck on the screen, but on the normal view where you move around to look at the city, and you have to close to fix.
Response from developer
We appreciate you taking the time to write such a detailed review. This game already includes over 2,000 buildings, more music, and more features than DC2 — the only major difference is DC2’s 3D terrain editing. The one-off server issue you mentioned was resolved months ago and isn’t ongoing. Tunnels do work — support can guide you if needed. You’ve played for months, reached level 100+, and unlocked features like trading money for gold, so we hope you’ll rate based on the complete experience rather than a mistaken comparison. You’re welcome to email any suggestions to our support team for consideration in future updates. If your city is full, why not reset and take on a new challenge? The game never ends, and a 2-star rating seems at odds with the enjoyment and dedication you’ve shown.
Ai slop
Response from developer
“AI slop”? Catchy phrase - usually thrown around by people convinced AI is about to steal their job and end civilization. In reality, our game’s futuristic art style was crafted by real 3D modellers using tools like 3ds Max and Photoshop. Just like cartoons that were once hand-drawn are now made on computers, because the world evolved. If our vision of a futuristic aesthetic (very much in line with Hollywood sci-fi) isn’t your thing, fair enough. But casually dismissing years of creative work on a deep simulation with 2,000 buildings? That’s not criticism. That’s just lazy.
Ai slop
Response from developer
The term “AI slop” gets thrown around a lot these days, but it really doesn’t apply here. While we use AI tools in our workflow (as most studios do), the game’s art style was shaped through hundreds of hours of refinement—not churned out. It’s part of a detailed simulation with 2,000 buildings and deep, complex systems. Calling the game “outdated” while also labelling it “AI slop” is contradictory—AI tools are about as current as it gets. And so what if we used some AI tools? It’s just one tool in a broader creative process. If the game’s futuristic theme isn’t your aesthetic, that’s fine—but calling it “slop” dismisses a huge amount of work and care.
New Cyberpunk sim
No more free gold
Response from developer
25 free gold is still being gifted weekly.
I really wanted to like this Sim, but . . .
Response from developer
Thanks for the kind words on the simulation depth! Slightly ironic that you’d happily pay $12.99 upfront, but object to optional purchases that support ongoing development. Everything can be earned through normal gameplay.
