Very good!

This instalment is the best one yet! Best designed out of all of them so far. It offers a fun challenge of making an excellent city and gives me good insight on how to improve. I was wondering if you could make it so I can increase or decrease the height of the terrain? That would make it extra real I think.

Great game but some issues

This game is amazing. I am making NYC, great graphics and designs. This happened before you updated the game so there is no issues with the new update but it might be my phone because sometimes, if there is a train stoped at a station, the train behind it slowly goes into it. And when cars turn at the same time with another, they go inside of each other instead of stopping. Thanks so much for the game and it’s ok if you can’t fix the problem. I will still play and love the game.

This game is garbage, because every time a road is laid out there’s no traffic….. no cars…no buses and other’s…….this game is Booo Booo. Plus this game keeps shutting off…..

Lacking

The graphics are great but my phone and it’s the latest iPhone gets really hot playing it compared to the other versions. Please add more beach options, walkways like the old ones, and more older historical buildings options. Lots of new things but little variety. All modern buildings and little classics. Lots of big skyscrapers which is great but few mid sizes

Designer City 4 isn't missing content compared with our previous games. It contains over 500 more buildings than Designer City, plus more features and player customization than any of our previous titles. The monorail system has also been expanded to create more realistic transport networks. We're continuing to add even more content in future updates.

Decent.

See I don’t mean any offense to developer: first few games were great. But 4 feels really really pay to win. I would love the grind, but sometimes I don’t like wasting resources.
But practically everything else has been better. Sphere Games Studios are good developers making good games, but i wish 4 didn’t feel pay to win

Thanks for the kind comments about our games. However, Designer City 4 is not pay-to-win. In fact, there is nothing to “win” — it is an open-ended sandbox city-building game. All essential gameplay is completely free, there are no forced ads, and there is no requirement to spend any money. Gold can be earned through normal gameplay and, once the Stock Exchange is unlocked, normal game money can be exchanged for gold. Managing resources and developing your economy are deliberate parts of the game’s progression. Purchases are entirely optional and simply provide a faster route for players who choose to use them.

Not much content

The game is pretty fun at first and i’ve made good progress up to level 290, up to this point all the buildings are either repetitive, or not fitting for my city. A lot of buildings cost gold and aren’t even unique. I feel like i cannot progress at this point, also the game freezes every other second, and i’m only low performance settings on a brand new iphone 17.

Really fun - Scale Issues

I love this game and have moved from the first game to this one. The mechanic and graphic improvements and great, and overall I’m really enjoying the experience. One complaint I have is the scaling of the buildings and if there is a fix to it? I’m making a scale version of Chicago and I noticed the Sears tower is noticeably too short. It’s way taller in the first game, so I wonder if this could be fixed in a future update? Thanks!

Nice but crashes all the time

Just like the other person has said in their own review, the same is happening to me, As my city has grown and gotten bigger, it has started crashing (closing randomly) every few minutes, i’m using an Ipad 9th generation.

Update: please fix this glitch, my game has become unusable and I can't even use the contact support button as it doesn't work either

It should had more size tiles and options. Like empire city.

It should had more tile sizes with decoration. And better buildings without have to spend gold.

Designer City 4 actually has around 4–5 times as many building and decoration options as Empire City. Gold can also be earned for free through normal game play, so we're not sure that a lack of options fairly reflects what the game provides.

Gold is an in-game currency that can be earned for free through normal game play, so you do not need to spend any money to access content that costs gold. There are many ways to earn gold, and you can easily earn 50–100 gold per day just by playing. As public transport is available to all players, we hope you will reconsider whether this fairly represents a 1-star experience.

Not exciting

The app closes without warning and not enough rewards. It’s like a downgrade and I’m playing on iPad Air 11. Not an old device

Fun but keeps crashing

As my city has grown and gotten bigger, it has started crashing (closing randomly) every few minutes. Happens on my IPad a lot (every few mins), and my phone too but less often on my phone. This really needs to be fixed

Lacking

I have played all the designer city’s but this one is lacking a lot of the beach options, walkways, big cities also have beaches and the monorail system has got worse, doesn’t look realistic like previous as the stations don’t sit over the track. Versions should get better not worse. So much missing in this version. Road options are great tho, and some of the new industry options. Other than that unfortunately I’m not impressed.

Endlich mal kein Pay2Win

Ganz tolle kleine Städtebausimulation. Unfassbar viele Gebäude und genug Tiefe, damit es nicht nach ein paar Tagen langweilig wird. Einziges Manko, es gibt leider keine Superbauten für Industrie. Das bedeutet die Fläche die benötigt wird um ausreichend Industrie auszubauen, ist sehr groß. Wäre ein Wunsch an die Entwickler, auch Spezialgebäude für Industrie in das Spiel zu integrieren.

I don’t think my og review saved so I’m sending it again

I love this designer city the best. I would recommend that cars actually yield to one another at yields so they cannot overlap which I see a lot. I would love to see rescue teams actually doing things, so like firetrucks at fires. I would also love to see car accidents implemented so rescue teams can actively do things and I feel it’d be a fun element to see within your own city to make it feel more real. Idk if it is possible to implement these ideas for the type of game this is, but yeah, overall I love this game so much!
