Disappointed

Public transport is system is on gold coin

Nice but crashes all the time

Just like the other person has said in their own review, the same is happening to me, As my city has grown and gotten bigger, it has started crashing (closing randomly) every few minutes, i’m using an Ipad 9th generation.

Not exciting

The app closes without warning and not enough rewards. It’s like a downgrade and I’m playing on iPad Air 11. Not an old device

Response from developer

Designer City 4 is our largest, most advanced and visually detailed city-building game. Unfortunately, some older devices are still permitted to install it despite not meeting the minimum specifications to run large cities reliably, causing the operating system to close the app automatically. The game contains more buildings, features and player customization than any of our previous titles, with more content added in every update.

Fun but keeps crashing

As my city has grown and gotten bigger, it has started crashing (closing randomly) every few minutes. Happens on my IPad a lot (every few mins), and my phone too but less often on my phone. This really needs to be fixed

Lacking

I have played all the designer city’s but this one is lacking a lot of the beach options, walkways, big cities also have beaches and the monorail system has got worse, doesn’t look realistic like previous as the stations don’t sit over the track. Versions should get better not worse. So much missing in this version. Road options are great tho, and some of the new industry options. Other than that unfortunately I’m not impressed.

Response from developer

Designer City 4 isn't missing content compared with our previous games. It contains over 500 more buildings than Designer City, plus more features and player customization than any of our previous titles. The monorail system has also been expanded to create more realistic transport networks. We're continuing to add even more content in future updates.

Endlich mal kein Pay2Win

I don’t think my og review saved so I’m sending it again

I love this designer city the best. I would recommend that cars actually yield to one another at yields so they cannot overlap which I see a lot. I would love to see rescue teams actually doing things, so like firetrucks at fires. I would also love to see car accidents implemented so rescue teams can actively do things and I feel it’d be a fun element to see within your own city to make it feel more real. Idk if it is possible to implement these ideas for the type of game this is, but yeah, overall I love this game so much!

Response from developer

We're delighted you're enjoying Designer City 4 and thank you for your suggestions. On older devices that don't meet the game's recommended specifications, some visual features, such as vehicle collision detection, may be reduced automatically to maintain performance. We don't currently plan to add visible emergency responses or traffic accidents, as we want to focus development on expanding the city-building and management gameplay.

Parabéns a equipe de desenvolvedores do designer City 4

O jogo é muito bom , fantástico , parabéns .

getting 30gold

I got 30gold advancement

You guys rule but please less gold for the cooler obvious buildings

Every version you come out with I play because you guys are great. I’ve spend 40 dollars on this game and I still don’t feel like I can sandbox it clearly that’s not what you intended but id appreciate if you lower some gold buildings cost

Greedy game owners

Fell asleep around 2am this morning playing this game. Woke up at 9am, looked at my game and ALL MY CASH WAS GONE. I starting checking things out and they added a maintainance fee on everything by the hour. Greedy greedy greedy. They r trying to make u buy game money to play the game. Granted they r here to make money for themselves and their families. But they have made this game unplayable. I’m in my 70s and falling asleep is part of the old people curse. Worth the curse cause I get to live long. But they R just way too greedy. Taking a large “maintenance “ fee on every single building in a stupid video game is just plain greedy and I will not reward greedy people.

Response from developer

That's not correct. Your city continues to simulate whether you're actively playing or not, with both income and operating costs being processed. Residential, commercial, industrial, sports, community and transport buildings all generate income. Only service and infrastructure buildings have maintenance costs, and these are less than 4% of the building's purchase price per maintenance cycle. If your city ran out of money, it means your operating costs exceeded your income rather than there being a problem with the game. If you'd like us to investigate your city, please contact us via the in-game support option and we'll be happy to explain exactly what happened. If this clears things up, we'd appreciate you reconsidering your rating.

Response from developer

Routen

Also ,alles soweit super mit kleinen Handlungsempehlungen

gold

why everything needs to build with gold .. we dont even get much gold but almost everything needs gold to build

Response from developer

Your review is not entirely accurate. Most early level buildings are build with game money. Most likely you are comparing a mature, high-level city from one of our earlier games with a brand new city in Designer City 4, while forgetting the progression it took to reach that point. Every Designer City game requires players to gradually unlock buildings and grow their economy over time. Players can build a successful city and progress through the entire game without purchasing a single gold building. Gold is earned by levelling up, collecting daily rewards, completing achievements, visiting other cities, constructing gold-producing buildings and through several other gameplay systems. Later in the game, the Stock Exchange also allows players to exchange regular money for gold. There are no construction timers forcing players to wait, and gold buildings do not block progression. Most players never make a purchase and everything can be obtained simply by playing the game. We would appreciate an accurate review reflecting how the game actually works.

Too much gold

Too many buildings gold only, a bit too cash grabby compared to earlier games

Response from developer
