Something happened
Been playing for years. Rebuilt my empire several times. Went to open the game today and it will not load. Tap icon and blip it’s gone. Will not open at all. Deleted and downloaded again same thing.
Please fix. This is a great game. I can get lost in it for hours if I choose

Awesome Game
This game is amazing it’s fun to play, immersive, and easy to progress without spending real money. It offers many different buildings, landscapes, and decorations allowing you to explore endless possibilities. It even has easy features to reset your map or game for a fresh start enabling you to build bigger and better. I would highly recommend this game

As advertised.
No waiting on build times or anything. And if you want to skip the bs and pay for the game.. it’ll only cost a cool $20 or $30 to unlock the massive map and all of the builds. I haven’t done it because the game paces well and haven’t found the need quite yet. But if I did.. I wouldn’t feel bad about it in the slightest. Good game.

I like this game. It’s fairly easy and simple. I can’t bring myself to give it five stars because; Inflation is rampant! The cost of a small plot of land can rise quickly to over 2 million each. ( along with everything else.).
The need for GOLD is overwhelming. ( not as bad as your other versions). It’s difficult/ impossible to earn enough gold without making in app purchases. ( I love the red dragon. He helps.) I’ve played the other versions of the games and this is the only one I recommend. The graphics are much better, there are a lot of different buildings, and there are workarounds for most of the gold required buildings. ( it is funny that there are central power plants and sewer treatment plants in medieval times. )

I spent money to buy some gold and now none of the buildings that require gold to build are even an option. They’re just gone and the option to turn them back on isn’t even showing up now

“It looks like you switched the filter to ‘money only’, which hides all gold buildings. Nothing has actually vanished. Totally understand the confusion, but this isn’t a game issue. Since you’ve enjoyed the game enough to support it, we’d appreciate updating the rating to the 5 stars you mentioned. If you need help with settings, our support team can guide you quickly.

If you are as OCD as me, you wouldn’t like the app. You have to place community buildings everywhere but with few options they don’t match the designs of all of the different houses and commercial. Example… You can have a section of Asian style houses and commerce buildings for an area but then the education only comes in renaissance buildings, so it looks off.
For the last six months, no buildings have been added. Try Designer City, much better.

Empire City 2 is intentionally medieval by design — there are no Asian or Renaissance buildings because it’s not that era. Community buildings are optional but they do boost happiness, productivity and increase city income. The choice is entirely yours though. Most people don’t play “awful” games for over a year, so that 1★ rating feels more than a little misplaced.
My favorite city-building game!
As a fan of city-building games, I’ve played many different games and this one is hands down my favorite of them all! No waiting for buildings to be done, no crop growing or goods making, just build and build and build. You earn money by keeping your village balanced with residents and employment. You increase your income by increasing citizen happiness through building parks and community buildings. There are no mandatory ads but you can watch short ones to get free stuff if you want, like land expansions and buildings/decorations that unlock on higher levels. You can purchase (for real money) gold and coins but as long as you plan your town, you don’t have to. If you enjoy strategy games and/or city-building games, you’ll probably enjoy this game too! The other designer city games work the same way and are equally as fun but I like the aesthetic of this one best. Thanks for a great product devs!

A wonderful escape!
I totally enjoy all of the Sphere Game Studio games I’ve played. A great way to get one’s mind off of the woes of daily life. I’ve been playing this one lately as a change of pace from Designer City which is another awesome game. Take a trip back in time with this one LOL! Leave your sounds on to hear the siren to alert you to the golden cloud or the dragon approaching. Click on them for free gold!

Now, it’s 8 times you have stolen a ad reward from me! I’m deleting this game! If I’m watching ads to unlock land I expect to receive the return and 7 times in 2 weeks I have not been given the land I’m watching videos to obtain. If you’re going to make people watch ads give them the reward they are owed! This right here is why I never spend real money on app games! You get no real value.

We have no record of any failures for your account, and you’re the only player making this claim, so it’s likely a misunderstanding. One of my fav city building games
I’ve owned this game for a couple months and I really enjoy the game it’s graphics are good and it has a bunch of great city’s

Best Game EVER!!!
I have played city building games for nearly 30 years and this is definitely the best game I have played on the App Store. It’s has a great balance of city management, metrics, graphics, design, etc. The gameplay itself is addictive and most importantly, this game can be played easily without ever having to spend money! There are no forced ads…!!! But, they do offer ads as options instead of using your game money or real money to purchase things. If you do decide to spend money, the value of the packages they give you is the best I’ve seen in an App Store game by far! This game is for anyone who wants to be creative, have fun, manage an empire, play countless of ad free hours at no cost, and so much more! Just download it, you will not regret it!

I find a lot of enjoyment playing this game. I love how there are no ads, no annoying pop ups and how it has a theme. It would be cool to see an easier way to get gold, and maybe lessen how much each piece of land is. I’m about to run out of challenges so I’m not sure what is next but I do enjoy moving buildings around and making new cities. I hope they come out with a new game, I’ve tried playing the other games that are available but they don’t hit like this one does. I actually wish the aquatic city was more like mermaid themed and the colors were 10x more vibrant. Maybe work on your colors. Not everything is so bland! Oh and if you can build another game that would be cool too. 😂

Great but…
Love the design but if you are going to have vastly different types of buildings, the services need to reflect that! The med, school, police and fire are just one type of design. If you’re going to require these services then add service buildings in multiple themes. It looks stupid to have a beautiful building near huts. I would give this a 5 if they can fix it!

Awesome Game, Needs some battles
I love this Game, it’s one of my Favorites on my Device. I love being super Creative and building cities, I built a German Quarter out of the New Materials and House textures. I do have one suggestion to make this Game more Fun. Add Wars and Battles and Soldiers and Warships. I think it would make this game more Appealing to people who would buy it, and since your Game is based off of Ancient Roman/Medieval Style Architecture, and Wars were super Common in those ages, I think it would be awesome to add Battles and Wars, and even Factions. That would be cool.

Very enjoyable but…
Have been playing this for some time. Think I’m on around Level 212 or so. Very enjoyable but…..it frustratingly keeps crashing, a lot. Seems like I’m not alone with this problem. Please sort it out.
