About

Desk booking for hybrid teams. Desk Bookie shows your office floor plan, lets you grab a desk in two taps, and checks you in when you scan the QR sticker on the desk you're sitting at. Whether your office calls it hot desking, desk hoteling, flexible seating or just sharing desks, Desk Bookie keeps track of who is sitting where — without a spreadsheet. BOOK AHEAD Reserve a desk as far ahead as your admin allows on an interactive floor map — pinch, pan, and tap the desk you want. Adjust your hours in the booking popup and you're confirmed instantly. SIT WITH YOUR TEAM Teammates' desks are marked right on the floor map, so you can book a seat near the people you're working with that day. NEVER LOSE A DESK TO A NO-SHOW Bookings that aren't checked into are automatically released shortly after start time, and the first person on the waitlist gets the desk — with a push notification the moment it's theirs. A reminder lands just before your booking starts, so the timer never catches you out. WAITLIST Office full? Join the waitlist for the day and Desk Bookie books you in automatically when a desk frees up. QR CHECK-IN Every desk gets a printable QR sticker. Scan it in the app (or with your camera — it deep-links straight in) to check in. Running early? Check in from the dashboard for same-day and next-day bookings. Running late? Extend your own check-in window in a tap — no need to ask an admin. FIXED DESKS Full-timers can have their own desk that nobody else can book — and release it for leave periods so the team can use it while they're away. TEAM DESKS Reserve a team desk for the day instead of a specific one. At the start of the day Desk Bookie assigns your actual desk and tells you where you're sitting, keeping your group together where the floor allows. Team desks nobody reserved open up as free desks for everyone. NOTIFICATIONS YOU CONTROL Booking reminders, waitlist news and check-in nudges arrive as push notifications, and you can read them back any time from the app. You're told what gets sent before you're asked to allow it, and you can change your mind whenever you like. MADE TO LIVE IN Dark mode follows your device, or pin it light or dark. A getting-started guide walks new joiners through their first booking, and it's there to replay whenever you want it. FOR ADMINS Design your floor in the built-in editor: drag desks around the canvas, mark them flex, team, fixed or closed, assign fixed-desk owners, set how far ahead the team can book, set the check-in window, choose which notifications go out and when, and share printable QR stickers. See how much your desks are actually used with the built-in utilization view, follow the org-wide activity log to see who booked what, and invite teammates with a join code, a QR code or an email invite. Made for hybrid teams who share desks — and want to spend zero time coordinating them.

What's New in Desk Bookie

1.3.0

August 18, 2026

Thanks for using Desk Bookie! This update adds: • A new look on your home screen — the Desk Bookie icon has been redrawn, with dark and tinted versions for iOS. • New to a team's office? Everyone gets a getting-started guide now, not just whoever set the organization up — and you can replay it any time from Settings › Help. • Notifications are your call. We explain what we send before asking, and Settings › Preferences shows where things stand. • Find my desk now shows the full desk legend, so every color on the map is explained. • Admins: assigning a fixed desk, or choosing who can book a flex desk, now opens a searchable list of your team — and nothing saves until you tap Save. Plus smaller fixes across the floor editor.
