Detectives Club 2: Gallery of Shadows by LynxMinx
Attention gamers! This is not a CE game (as the title would lead you to believe) and therefore lacks certain components, such as a strategy guide or match-3 alternative for the HO scenes. Once again, the mini-game screen is superimposed on the gameplay interface, which is extremely obnoxious. The touchscreen sensitivity is not too bad for a change, just enough to make you angry anyway. The only guide is the one to help you find 140 collectible seals, which in turn gets you one additional HO puzzle. Not worth it! The map tracks your collectibles, but there is no additional indicator to help. But of course you have the sales timer clocks to torment you. The mini-games were enjoyable, and I liked figuring out how to construct the complex items myself. General gameplay was entertaining, and the adventure was lengthy. I feel that this game was geared more towards younger folks. I wish that I could have rated the game higher, because the storyline was novel for a change. But there were too many glitches! Still, I prefer our amazing CE games with all of the bells and whistles.

I can’t rate this game any higher due to numerous problems which are listed below.
1. No strategy guide
2. No match 3 option in HOs
3. No visual indicators of tools needed to assemble items
4. Touch is awful
5. Mini games do not work properly
6. Crashed once in bonus section causing necessity to reopen
7. Map doesn’t accurately depict collectibles.
8. Several misspellings in the “City News” article. This indicates lack of attention to detail.
I cannot recommend purchase of this game.

Can’t play
I didn’t buy the game, started to see if I’d like it. Insane amount of ads. Stuck on one ad and game will not continue.
