Mysteries Abound!!
I came for the mystery. I stayed for the Invisible Man.
This game understands an important truth: if you're going to give me a detective story, I want memorable companions. The plot may fade, but I will never forget the Invisible Man standing in an alley wearing a trench coat, turtleneck, hat, badge, and goggles while apparently possessing no visible head.
How does he see?
The game wisely refuses to answer.
Meanwhile, everyone treats this as completely normal.
"Let's gather all the criminals in one place."
Excuse me, sir. There is a floating coat talking.
The mystery itself was enjoyable, but the real stars were the little moments of delightful nonsense sprinkled throughout the adventure. That's what keeps me playing these games. Give me unusual sidekicks, strange companions, and characters who make me laugh. Not everything needs to be dark, grim, or horrifying.
The Invisible Man has now joined the ranks of my favorite game companions alongside Wee Froggie on the HINT button, the bowing owl, the airborne blowfish, the snack-loving monkey, and the lemur who keeps popping out of bushes as if he owns the place.

Good game
Very good game. Bonus was a bit laggy tho and I had to click multiple times just to pick up objects and it took a long while after clicking on another character for them to start talking
Absolutely Disrespectful!
Where is James Blackthorn? Seriously it's not ‘Detectives United’ without James Blackthorn so why are Elephant Games showing so much disrespect to loyal fans by leaving a main character out? I used to love Elephant Games but not anymore! I’d rather eat one of my brain tumours than play this game!

It was great playing this game,I love the character Richard,his voice and sense of humor is so inviting. That adds so much to the game!

I’ve always enjoyed the series, but it’s always been muddied by mistakes throughout each and every game in the series, some worse than others. But this one was pretty solid. There were a few glitches here and there, but for the most part, it was quite enjoyable and the ending, which I won’t spoil in case somebody hasn’t gotten to it yet, is quite a nice surprise. Well done. A nice return to form — keep it up.

Detectives United 7: Mission Possible by LyxnMinx
It is now 3 months later and I am writing an entirely new review. The storyline was a bit dull, but it had an unexpected ending, and inventory usage were quite creative, and general gameplay was enjoyable. I was elated that Richard, Anna’s sarcastic father, was back in his skull. It was interesting to play from the perspectives of the various detectives, although it would have helped to have a small picture so you could remember who you were and which powers you possessed. Although James Blackthorn was no longer one of the characters, he was replaced by Ewan, a young man whose otherworldly power was to stop the passage of time. The adventure was lengthy, inclusive of the bonus adventure. However, the negative aspects of the game outweighed the positive ones. Elephant is developing their games very cheaply. The graphics lacked visual acuity. The inventory bar was black and the tools were so tiny that you couldn’t tell what they were. The lack of touchscreen sensitivity was horrible, and it affected playing certain mini-games. For example, and this is 3 months later and Elephant has NOT repaired it, you couldn’t rotate picture pieces in one of the puzzles, as the rotation button did not function at all! In addition, you could no longer enlarge the screen during the HO scenes. Elephant also kept putting map marks on the map when there were no available actions, just future objectives to be accomplished.
They needed to fix their issues and they failed to do so. This is one of my favorite series because I love the sub-genre of paranormal abilities/detective mysteries. So I was very disappointed with the quality of the game. For the aforementioned reasons, I sadly must rate this game at 3 stars, for merely average. Had the quality assurance been better, I would have added a star. Considering all of the glitches and the poor graphics, I think I was quite generous with my rating.

Great Game!
I really enjoyed this game. It was great seeing “Daddy Richard” again - he’s always good for a laugh. I had a fun time and completely glitch free.
I’m sorry you have to put up with nasty reviewers who have yet to learn that you catch many more flies with honey than vinegar.

Why is it not full screen anymore?

Thought I would try this game. I’ve always enjoyed this series, but it’s not a full screen game and I won’t play it. Too hard to read or see things. This is an edit to my original review. Based on the review stating that screen size was not an issue. For most people it may not be an issue for myself as well as others with poor eyesight it is an issue and the developers should take this into consideration when releasing a new game. I play on an iPad as well and not having a full screen game is too much strain on my eyes to play. Would welcome a fix from the developer if that’s possible so I can play this new game.

I very much enjoyed this game, I had no issues whatsoever with screen size playing on my iPad and I also encountered no problems in purchasing. It was great to have Richard back, and the humor sprinkled in was fun as well. I’m a big fan of this series.

Note to Elephant: Fix your issues or I will block revenues on this game! Do we understand each other? Most players cannot purchase it, and others don’t like the fact that the game interface does not fill up the entire screen! You are producing these games cheaply and it shows. I have also warned you NOT to put exclamation points on the map unless there is an action available, as opposed to an objective. Start paying attention to what I’m telling you! My advice is golden, and I am very highly respected by the entire community of iOS gamers. I will not allow you to take advantage of them by releasing a glitchy, unplayable game.

I was so excited to see Richard back. I hope he stays. The storyline was easy to follow the mini games were easy to get through. Map worked well. Really enjoyed this game.
