Have been using this app after I purchased magazines in the year 2018/2019, but recently the app has been updated and i can no longer access my downloaded magazines from those years as it only now goes from 2020!! Not impressed…..
This app is utterly useless…
… compared with the one I was using until end of 2022. Where do I start? First, all my downloaded magazines vanished. Second, it took several attempts, seemingly going in circles and being taken to wrong web sites, to get it to recognise my Abo. Third, I’ve had to download the latest issue twice, because it disappeared a few days after the first download. Fourth, it doesn’t always remember the page where you left off, so effectively no bookmark. Fifth, tapping on a page sometimes gives plain text, as with old app, but sometimes just gives a 404 error. Sixth, the large margins are wasting vital screen space and creating unnecessarily small text, but attempting to zoom in is both inconvenient and likely to be recognised as a tap (leading to 404 error). After being a subscriber for 6 or 7 years, will I be renewing? Unlikely if I have to use this rubbish to read the otherwise superb magazine.

App worked great before the update. After the update, articles no longer readable on phone. Could click on articles in previous version and have text format on phone.

Dopo aver sottoscritto l’abbonamento per 6 mesi sul loro sito e dove chiaramente si indica la possibilità di utilizzare l’app per iOS mi ritrovo che solo una rivista è disponibile le altre sono a pagamento! Mandato più lettere al loro indirizzo di supporto e ti rispondono che ‘ci stanno lavorando’. Da un mese aspetto ancora risposta ! Cialtroni!

Absolutely useless
It is such a shame. Deutsch perfect looks like a great magazine and products to learn German with. The helpline is staffed with incredibly polite and friendly people. However, the app is completely useless. I have subscribed to all versions of this product and in spite of trying repeatedly I still cannot download a single online issue. Paragraph the app is difficult to navigate. Once again a real shame as the product is excellent. Do not invest your time or money in this app

Io mi trovo bene su iPad però...
Però e’ da un po’ di tempo che nn funzionano più gli esercizi interattivi... Prima funzionavano... Per me che uso la app sul trenino in viaggio sarebbe... molto ma molto più utile..
Never works
The app always asks to sign up again for a subscription even if I have one already. I constantly have to send emails to get it reactivated via their super slow customer service. Not worth it, the paper version is more reliable that their digital subscription!
Incredibly poor app
Concept with Deutsch perfekt is good, good idea with poor execution. Multiple times i purchased magazin (plus the audio trainer and workbook too) thru this app.
Weeks later none of them available in the downloads. This happened now twice. I wont buy again, not recommended at all.

One of the worst apps ever, unclear and expensive.
Be careful while using this app, whenever it is possible they offer you free online months for e readings. This is absolutely untrue. I got into one of those subscriptions and then I received many letters asking me for money. I was totally unaware of it, also because those e papers appeared on an online archive. I did not directly receive the copies of the online paper, so I did not notice that there was a subscription going on.

After an update the app crashes all the time
The app crashes and freezes, the exercises are not any longer interlinked with the magazine. Support is virtually non-existent.

All texts are broken. What are you guys even doing???
Good idea, poor execution
Apps seems to be a work in progress. Lots of picture and text loading errors. Appears not to work with current iOS updates. Disappointing.
Substandard App
Every time I open the app all my previously downloaded issues are gone and I have to download them again even though I am already signed in, the app is always wanting me to purchase the edition. Very disappointing. I have been a Deutsch Perfekt reader for twelve years. This is terrible.

Deutsch Perfekt app has absolutely everything, and the sub is so reasonable! I found the magazine in Austria, got back to Australia and wanted a subscription - and I found everything in this neat app. So good
