Could Be Much Better
I give it 3 stars because it is the best free resource for European corporate bond pricing by a country mile. Meanwhile, as a free resource for share pricing, Yahoo Finance, and many others, blow it out of the water. To put it bluntly, there are many simple things that this app could do better, especially given the fact we live in a world of AI. Interestingly, the company reached out to me to ask how it could improve its interface. I gave it a list of several easy things to implement. It replied by describing all of my suggestions as „beyond our means“. That response, as well as the fact that the app has not noticeably changed for years, sums up the lack of ambition that pervades the organisation. If I were Frankfurter Börse, I would hire a few local high school kids to step up the functionality (and geographic coverage) of its bond offering. That‘s where its competitive advantage lies. As for its share price offering, I would simply copy what some of the free websites already do. Lastly, Frankfurter Börse should sell advertising more effectively so as to fund the build out of its functionality. Right now, the organisation engages in advertising but its advertisements seem to only focus on Frankfurter Börse.

I can't login to my account my on this app - I used to be able to buy something has changed... And so I've list my watch lists, portfolio etc etc..
Loses data
Boerse Frankfurt made a systems change last week that caused all users to lose their stocks and portfolios and saved data - both on the web site and in the app.
It's a major hassle to re-input all stocks and positions held. Since this is a server change that erased all data for all users, the app is unserious.

This app is really great to manage your bond portfolio - something which cannot be found anywhere else - as it offers a great functionality to build up your list of favorite securities and monitor effectively live and historical prices for all your positions. Unfortunately, the Watchlist often crashes in this Ipad application and the only solution seems to be to delete the entire App and install it again on your IPad (so make sure you have a back-up of your Watchlist on PC). Hopefully the next Ipad version will sort this problem out!
