This release focuses on reliability and on making sure completed work is recorded correctly. Sign-out now checks your sections When signing out of a clinic, the app now checks that every section has at least one rating recorded. Previously a section could be left with no ratings at all - the work looked complete on the iPad, but the section did not appear in reporting afterwards. If anything has been missed you will now be told before you sign out. Clearing a student's present/absent mark The cross on the attendance control now clears a student's present or absent mark properly. Previously it appeared to clear and then reverted. Fixes • Searching the student list no longer causes the app to close, and the list no longer flickers as you type. • Moving quickly between assessment forms, or tapping a section heading while the screen is still changing, no longer causes the app to close. • Work recorded while the iPad is locked is no longer at risk of being lost. The app now keeps those changes and saves them at the next opportunity. Institution settings An iPad is set up for a single institution when it is first activated. This version adds safeguards so that setting can only be changed deliberately, on the device, by a person. Settings received from our servers are now checked before being applied. No action is needed — devices already set up correctly are unaffected.
