This app just works like it’s supposed to. I subscribed to keep a log of where I’ve travelled to. Please keep app in active development for future iOS releases.
Still working great after all these years
This is a fairly simple app, but it works well for recording my devices’ location via a home-grown web service and the url forwarding feature.

Brilliant
I’ve been using Device Locator for a long time and it is the only app I’ve found which allows me to send my current location in real-time to another service. As a programmer this comes in very useful because I can send my current location to my server and have custom actions be performed when I reach certain places.

Great App love it
Love the App. Support is NON EXISTENT!
ZERO customer service. All I needed to do was change the email address in my account but despite NUMEROUS requests for service I’ve had not one single response! The email address listed on my account no longer exists! Love the app just don’t expect anyone to ever contact you for support issues!

Awesome app
I've been using this app for years, almost since my first iPhone. I'm self employed, and this is how I track my business miles. Its tracking, combined with the online subscription, means that I can see every trip I've taken, every onsite job I've done. Can't imagine having to do taxes at the end of the year without it! Want to know where I was on Oct 18, 2014? I can tell you!
I've tried other apps for tracking over the years, but this is the only one that seems to take ZERO extra battery. Life360, MileIQ, Everlance... all these seem to take a huge toll on battery life. This app - nothing.
This app may not have the bells and whistles of some of the others out there, but year after year, it's the one I rely on every day to track my phone!

Doesn't work
Can't get to do anything and no support at all.
Old Version Was Top Notch... New Version is Ordinary
My review is biased because Thus app was #1 BEFORE the updates. It had latitude and longitude, an alarm feature which I used a lot, and it also would take a photo of the person holding your phone. With the previous version, the thief that took my phone ended up returning the phone when they learned I had a photo of them. They couldn't get the alarm to ho off and called 12 hours later to return it. Again...Hugh fan of the OLDER VERSION. The new version is not as good as Life360 which is another app I use for location. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!

Great Application!
I rely on DeviceLocator to keep track of where I have been and when. I especially like the optional online site that archives the records. I have been using DeviceLocator for several years now and do not know what I would do without it. Buy it and give it a try!
Still the best device locator app in 2015!
Just verified that the site was still up and running, and the custom URL params still works, though I have to find a service to interpret the long/lat and show the position marker on a map (google map has changed since my last implementation).

The app is great when it's not notifying me it's not running anymore. Developers (I'm sure they already know this) need to improve reliability.

Used to be great...
Ever since I updated to iOS 8, I get constant notification that the app is no longer running in the background. I have it set to be allowed to run in the background always, and I never close it. Yet I'm getting this message literally about ever 10-15 minutes. Fix this bug, and I'd go up to at least four stars!

Every couple of days it informs me that it's not running and requires restarting.

Good app probs worth
Good app I like how it shows the last know location even if the phone ran out of power. Should have a mode were it shows you the route you have been. It's a bit buggy which could be better ( says app is not running every so often ) . Though it is nice it tells you it isn't running. Over all good app
