Weapon buying bug
If i buy a new weapon then the old weapon i bought gets deleted and i have to buy again cant you restore this bug?
Insane potential, but riddled with bugs
I used to love this game in high school. It was unique, and had a lot of potential. I still think that. But it has way too many bugs for it to be worth playing at this point in time. Just to give a few examples of game breaking bugs that anyone can and will easily encounter:
• The background glitches in and out quite often, which can mess with your eyes and possibly trigger seizures for people with epilepsy
• Sometimes, when the background glitches, enemies will just disappear entirely, with only their healthbar remaining. They can’t attack, meaning you can’t even counterattack them. It can be very annoying sometimes.
• The wolf enemy will randomly move on slow motion during its second attack, and because the bite shows up so early, it makes timing a counterattack against that attack very difficult if not impossible.
• Buying weapons just… doesn’t work. You’ll buy the gun, but it won’t take you out of the menu for buying that gun. If you tap it again, it’ll take out the gold to buy that weapon AGAIN, and if you do that enough, you can easily go into the negatives. On top of that, the guns don’t actually stay bought. I’ve bought multiple guns, only to just now find out they don’t stay bought once you’ve bought them. I wasted 30k gold on a gun and now I just can’t get that back.
• Some achievements simply don’t work. Because of the gun buying glitch, you can’t actually unlock the “buy your first weapon” achievement. I also haven’t unlocked the “unlock all upgrades” acheievement despite having all the upgrades.
Overall, while I think this game has an awesome concept, and the execution of the gameplay is a satisfying gameplay loop, these game breaking bugs completely ruin the experience and immersion. For the future of this otherwise amazing mobile game, please fix these bugs 🙏

Used to be my favorite mobile game
Game is super glitchy. I remember playing this years ago but now it slows down the gameplay so much it’s about impossible.
Underdog of a game
Hella entertaining, you need timing skill to play this game and the progression is addicting, very underrated game for how many reviews there are

Edit: Feb 8 2021 Sooooooo you are not gonna listen to us?... To the previous mechanics. I like the new art style though i really don't like this new version. After the first boss it is next to impossible to progress. You simplified the upgrades & took away the weapons & skins. I was doing so great before this. You took out everything that made it fun. What's the reason you took out the arsenal? In four years this iz what we get? Your game iz not fun. Those of us that have had the previous versions know. Please bring the fun old version back and improve on it or leave it as it wuz instead of giving your new & old fans this.

bugs
the game has many bugs. Does not save some purchases, crashes when buying, then makes two purchases, silver coins (hard to get) are NEGATIVE! Please fix this!
Way too many bugs
I used to play this game when I was a kid and it was fun I just got this game back and now there are a bunch of bugs. 1. The background glitches out a lot. 2. Sometimes the enemies disappear and you can only see the health bar. 3. This is the worst because the game will let me upgrade my character but it won’t let me buy and guns and when I try to it puts a different gun on the screen and it says ok if you press ok it will then take the amount of money your spending on the gun you want and it won’t give you the gun if you keep doing it you will end up with negative in game currency. I really hope you can fix the game it was fun when I used to play it but there are to many bugs which makes it unplayable.

The game is not what it used to be
The character shoots by himself an the parry is all weird and offbeat, it’s not what it was when I first played it, you can’t even buy guns, outfits or armor anymore🤦🏽♂️
Awful
Not as good as it used to be, the former mechanics that the game had made it such a better game especially the character designs but now this game is nothing more than garbage
Good time killer
I used to play this game all the time when I was younger, spending hours just listening to music and relaxing as the gameplay is just simple enough to be able to not put much mind into it. Story isn't bad either, although as a kid I never got far and didn't understand it well.
You guys went downhill
I want to say that devil eater is an extremely fun game and I had a blast playing it. However, I want to say that devil eater reboot just doesn’t work with me and if it was the devil eater I first experienced, I wouldn’t have enjoyed any of it.
Ruined the game with new update
I had so much progress. I was grinding to get the best weapon in game to finally beat the game. I was on like 375 kills. You simplified the game to the point its just bad. The animation was good before the update but its just bad right now. Its too simple. PLEASE GO BACK.
Recent Update
Not a fan at all of the recent update with the new game mechanics. Should’ve just created an entirely separate game. It’s a shame

Shocked it’s updated
Been playing since iPhone 6 on and off. I got it in March 2021 and shocked they rebooted it. It looks so good and plays great.
It’s awesome the new style but I wish we choose what to upgrade. It seems completely free to play so that’s why I keep the five stars.

Regarding the new version
PLEASE bring back the old mechanics. This new one feels 100% less interactive and gives a more brainless experience. Before you had to do so much more to attack and counter enemies moves but now it’s so slow and attacking is automatic. Please make some sort of alternate version or something where you can play old version.

Bug
Fun game but can’t play effectively due to bug where part of the iPhone Siri/cards page shows up while playing.
New devil eater is bad
The new core mechanics are tearable revert to the old devil eater or make them separate games because not being able to use skill shot until it’s full that’s tearable and the way they changed the counter attack system is so less rewarding and regular monsters spawn when the boss spawns and also not having different weapons is lame especially since I hade really good ones and now I deal like this game is more worth uninstalling after knowing the old and good devil eater
