The Best SQE 1 and 2 Course
I have completed both the SQE1 and SQE2 courses with Devils Advocate having bought the full passes , including the exam crash courses, and I can confidently say they have been an invaluable resources in my preparation for both exams.
Roger is an excellent tutor, he has a real ability to break down complex areas of law and, more importantly, explain how to apply them in the exam. His teaching is clear, practical, and very much focused on what the examiners are actually looking for, which made a huge difference to my confidence and approach.
Roger is also always available and incredibly responsive. Whenever I had queries or needed something explained, he replied promptly and took the time to explain, which made a big difference during my revision.
What really stands out is the value for money. Compared to other SQE providers, the courses are very reasonably priced, especially considering the amount of high quality content, structured guidance, and exam focused resources included. You genuinely get far more than you would expect for the price.

Priceless
I used DA for SQE2 and I honestly don’t think I could have passed without it. The high yield notes are very well put together. Roger is a great teacher and I’d happily recommend the crash courses he delivers. The SQE syllabus is a mile wide and a couple of inches deep and DA ensure you have the access to the knowledge you’ll need to pass. It’s also super value for money compared to most other providers.

Great revision notes and Roger is very responsible and always on the ball with any help. I passed on my second attempt, first attempt was without devils advocate and second time was with. The notes so super digestible and easy to comprehend. I also loved the flash cards which saved me time. Would highly recommend.

The best SQE material
I sat SQE1 in Jan 2026 and passed in first and second quintile. I studied with Ulaw full time over 4 months, and used DA as the supplement to my studies. The high yield notes, question banks and other resources are the main reason I passed. Without DA, I could not have done it.

Passed SQE1 on First Attempt
I passed SQE1 in the January 2026 sitting solely using Devil’s Advocate. I even scored in Quintile 1 for FLK1. The high yield notes cover everything you need to know in a concise and digestible format. The live lessons on the crash course cover the content in an engaging manner and Roger is on hand to answer any questions you may have. I also found the MCQs to be the closest to the real exam. I would recommend to anyone! I wouldn’t have passed without Devil’s Advocate.

The best materials for SQE! I passed my SQE1 only using these materials. Highly recommended!
This is the only revision I used and they are just the best. The knowledge you get from their materials are very much applicable and similar to the knowledge and concept of the exams. The lay-out is highly organised and it is easy to study and learn using their effective structure. The mock tests and quizzes for each subject are extremely helpful. I highly recommend Devil’s Advocate 👍❤️

The ONLY Resource you NEED for SQE!
After having some extremely poor experiences with other providers, I came across Devils Advocate and WOW - DA CHANGED THE GAME FOR ME!
DA provided me with the resources and support required to pass both SQE 1 and SQE 2 in the first quintile.
From using pretty much all other resources out there, I noticed that non compare to DA. It simply ticks all the boxes and provides the full package in order for you to not only pass but pass with confidence.
I highly recommend DA, the membership and the passes, and all their other offerings! It is incredibly important to be able to ‘count’ on your SQE resources and trust in your course provider to deliver and DA goes above and beyond every time to enable people to pass the challenges of SQE, whilst understanding the FLK behind it and being able to practically apply it to meet the competencies required.

Highly recommend
Couldn’t recommend Roger and devil’s advocate more for SQE2. The crash course is also excellent. Gives context to legal rules and how they would likely be examined.

Excellent value and truly helpful for SQE revision
I have really enjoyed using Devil’s Advocate. The video content is genuinely strong and the lectures are organised in a very clear and logical way, which makes it much easier to understand the topics and actually use the knowledge in practice. The cheatsheets are also very helpful for quick revision and consolidation.
The price is another major advantage. Many SQE courses cost an absolute fortune, but this course is modestly priced and still provides enough material to prepare properly. The only disappointment for me was that I did not manage to access all the cheatsheets. I hope other users will be able to benefit from the full set. Overall, a great app and I would definitely recommend it.

SQE1 Crash Course & App
Devil’s Advocate App together with the SQE1 Crash Course has been the best investment I’ve made for my studies. Roger is extremely knowledgeable in explaining and breaking down tough topics, the high-yield notes are easy to follow and mock exams makes the law feel accessible rather than overwhelming. For the price, the quality of the content and the performance analytics are unbeatable.
