Great hotel, lovely room, great food all delivered with a great service team
Reservations department poor
We booked an expensive room that was totally inappropriate for us. A bed so high it needed a small ladder to get up and down. Staff at the pub were wonderful and let us move to a room with a normal bed albeit a much cheaper room. But this one has a big green EXIT sign on the room on all night and an enormous very noisy extractor fan on all night, just outside the room. It also only had a door to let air in and no window. The bed was comfortable. Sadly this cost us over £250 a night! So be very careful when you book. The staff at the pub were all marvellous but have no control over pricing and final billing. No good memories for us.

Have stayed here twice now. The staff rooms and food are excellent. Buy the ticket for Chatsworth and be treated like a Duke. I do not want to write this review because I’d like to keep it secret. If you don’t enjoy your stay here then there is no hope for you. Thank you to all the staff at this wonderful establishment 🙏🏻👍🏻
