Awful
Clearly users are viewed by Dexcom as a revenue source to be milked, not as customers. The app is truly awful and functions at a primitive level of functionality.
Idiotic
What is the point of this app? You need to STOP sensor to connect to new transmitter, why? The app hardly gives information or trends more than 24 hours, again why not? For 400$ per 3 sensors, you should have something that’s works. Where is ability to display on watches?
Needs to be updated
It used to work perfectly, but I updated my phone and now the Dexcom app says my account doesn’t exist when I try to log in. Makes it very difficult to enjoy having a Dexcom when I can’t use one of the main features! When I called Dexcom to trouble shoot, they said to wait for the app to be updated. This was over a week ago.

So close.
Consistent misreads. I have to test my sugars with my glucometer so often it’s not worth it.
Apple Watch use
The latest iOS version either broke the Apple Watch integration or Dexcom did. Always get the “Check your mobile app” message on my watch. I got an Apple Watch to view this while at a gym or other activities. Fix integration!
Bad programming
Keeps telling me to delete app and reinstall….. fix this nonsense
Finally switching to G7
This tech is amazing until it isn’t which is dangerous. Constant drops make it so frustrating…G7 better be better than this 😳🙄
Widget gone for iOS 18!
Fix the widget for iOS 18, bring it back!
iOS 18
On ne peut plus l’avoir en widget. Faites une correction svp!!
UPDATE FOR IOS 18 PLEASe🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Widgets don’t work with ios18 PLEASE FIX
App needs to abide by Do Not Disturb setting.
Since there is no way to disable all notifications, I power my phone off every night. I have my pump for notifications which are, for the most part vibration only and don't wake up my partner.
I also turn my phone completely off at school events and in movies.
This is ridiculous having to choose no notifications at all instead of notify-the-entire-room notifications. There should be a silent/vibration only option and a do not disturb option.

I used to love it
I used to love and rely on this app but then they changed things so I can no longer shut off alerts. Some of us don’t want alerts through both phone and insulin pump. Second complaint is that it’s been changed so diabetic eyes can’t see it on the watch anymore. Literally became useless.
Time for an update Dexcom
The app could be so much better if updated. Also I've noticed on my apple watch, the font on my main app screen is so tiny now...just did the apple updates on my phone and watch so that might be it but come on dexcom, get with the times.
Watch widget in watch OS10 is tiny on Modular app face
I just updated my Apple watch to OS10 and have found that when, using the modular watch face, the blood sugar reading is still there, however, it is very very small and difficult to read. If you could, please look into this, that would be very much appreciated. Otherwise I find that this works fairly well.

Device great
But piss poor app development and features that Canadians don’t get compared to the US either Dexcom doesn’t care enough about Canadians or spend money for the Canadian version of the app, it’s pathetic that Dexcom doesn’t do anything with answering our questions
Needs an iOS homescreen widget
No iOS homescreen widget on the Canadian version
Dexcom is a game changer. But...
Love Dexcom and what it does for me.
But when you use the app literally every day/all day, small things become a big deal.
1. Alerts and alarms impact FaceTime.
2. Integration with car play and alerts impact on car audio, etc.
3. Alerts when wearing headphones/earbud = broken eardrums.
Feature recommendation
1. “Hey Siri, what is my sugar?”
Thank you devs!

Waste of money!!! Dangerous machine to rely on for life saving info
You are going to end up killing people with how badly it keeps failing!!! And during a pandemic too!!! Shame on you!
If you can’t keep up with Apple’s updates, you should be giving out the receiver for free!

Awesome device, ok app
Don’t get me wrong, the Dexcom G6 is a life changer device. The application could do so much more however. In Canada, the Watch complications is still not supported except for the modular and this almost 2 years after the release of the watch 4. I would also like to see dark mode. If there is one app that should support dark mode, this is this one. A blank screen at 3am is very unpleasant. Finally, the events management could do so much more... I’d like to see the events on the graph and to have my events reported in Apple Health. For those who like me like the G6 but are disappointed by the app, look at Sugarmate.
