User reviews

Keeps me motivated

Great app; keeps me motivated to maintain that 2 hours of sitting per day.

Great app with Course materials and centers world map

What a wonderful app! I can go through the course material and games, the recordings are there, and I can check out and sign up for other courses around the world as well. It is easy to stay on the path.

Great app with one suggestion

This is a nice app packed with information and the tracker which is nice to track one’s meditations.
However It would be nice to be able to have 2 hour settings in the tracker as well.

iPhone 17

我無法在iphone17上儲存app ?這只是我的問題嗎?

Not sincronicity with more than one devices.

I have phone and tablet and is not possible sincronicity between both devices. It would be nice. Now they are independent and I like to check register and see the hours every week I have meditated and is not possible if I use both.

FAQ

What is Vipassana Meditation?

Vipassana, meaning 'to see things as they really are,' is an ancient Indian meditation technique for self-purification through self-observation. It involves observing the natural breath to focus the mind, then observing bodily sensations to understand impermanence, suffering, and egolessness, leading to mental purification.

How can I find Vipassana Meditation courses?

This app provides a comprehensive worldwide listing and map of over 300 meditation centers and non-center locations across 80+ countries. You can search for courses using criteria such as dates, regions, and instruction languages, and then apply directly through the app.

Are there any costs associated with the courses?

No, there are no charges for the Vipassana Meditation courses, not even to cover the cost of food and accommodation. All expenses are met by donations from past students who wish to offer the opportunity to others.

What kind of audio and video resources are available?

The app offers a variety of audio and video content, including 10-Day Discourses, instructions for Mini-Ānāpāna meditation, talks, interviews, Q&As by S.N. Goenka, documentaries for adults and children, and specific programs for business executives and prison inmates.

Can I use this app on different devices?

This application is specifically designed for iOS mobile devices. While the app itself is for iOS, the meditation techniques and courses are accessible globally through various centers and online resources.
