Amazing platform-much needed

Our community needs this. The first product caught my eye, and I requested allocation and quickly got a call with the founders.

Hugely needed, not sure there’s anything like this

I’ve been looking for a way to invest in early-stage companies that actually aligns with my values, without having to piece it together myself or compromise on quality. Dhow is the first platform I’ve found that takes both sides of that seriously.

The deal flow is curated around Muslim-led and values-aligned founders, so you’re not just screening out bad actors after the fact. The due diligence and reporting standards feel institutional, which matters a lot when you’re talking about private market investing. Most retail platforms in this space feel like they were built to check a compliance box. Dhow actually feels like it was built by people who understand the investor experience.

The free tools, particularly the VC Returns Calculator, are genuinely useful for understanding what returns in this asset class actually look like historically. It’s rare to see a platform lead with education instead of just hype.

The community angle is real too. Being able to connect with operators, physicians, founders, and investors who are navigating similar priorities is something I didn’t know I needed until I had it. It changes the way you think about deal flow and due diligence when you’re in a room with people who are actually building.

The Ummah Needed Something Like This. The investing app we’ve been missing.

Been looking for something like this for a while. Most investing apps focus on public stocks after the big gains have already happened. Dhow is more focused on what’s being built before that stage.

The app is clean, easy to use, and what stood out to me most was the community. It’s nice being able to connect with people who are interested in startups, private markets, and long-term wealth building instead of just chasing the latest stock or crypto trend. Feels more like a network than just another investing app.

If you’re into startups, venture capital, or just want to be closer to where new companies are being built, it’s worth checking out.

Feels like getting in early on something rather than hearing about it years later.
