As I just started using it today I found it a little tricky getting to todayโs date ( it seemed to start last week ) but I got there and am quite easily adding to my notes as the day goes by. Iโm using it more for a medical record as this is easier that trying to write it down for reference later. Being free and fairly easy to use itโs certainly worth itโs 4 stars and maybe a fifth

I like it.
I like the simplistic format but I wish the dark mode was free. I can live with fonts and timed reminder being behind a paywall. Or even 0.99 per feature.

No password protection without paying for app
I downloaded this app thinking that it would be password protected. It is not. You need to pay 12.99 to unlock that core function. Face ID and passlock are the options offered once you pay for the app.

i rly like the feature where theres a password, since some ppl like to snoop around on my phone. It also lets you change the font! AND every time you exit the app, it locks automatically! Def recommend

I've been using this app for over 6 years, itโs an indispensable part of my daily routine. It is amazing. The minimalist design avoids clutter, I can start journaling in seconds, without distractions. Itโs a space where I can truly connect with myself, just click, type, and let my thoughts flow, itโs so straightforward to use. I really like this app itโs a great app, but when Iโm really fuming about something it really tirรขtes me more when it tries to tell me something is wrong (even if itโs a name) because like Iโm trying to vent not write an essay. But otherwise highly recommend.

Good app, bad paywall
It does everything I want a Diary to do it. Let me write my days in and keep track of things. But if I want to export it, I gotta pay $13 if I wanna do anything special $13. I would definitely avoid this one unless youโre OK paying.
Have they changed the app?
Confused. I LOVED this app at first as I had the ability to jot things down on all dates in the month. Now I can only access the past and today. There is not future date reference. Can no longer use it to it plan my month. I am confused where this feature has gone!?
I find it extremely rewarding
I just started using the app occasionally to write down the impactful things that are happening/ going on in life and it really helps me identify patterns, continuous situations, and everything is dated and simple in the layout. I just love it. I plan to use it more than the average monthly or so entry.
