October 25, 2026

Diaryx 3.6 is a new app from the ground up, but works much the same way. Please report bugs if you find them. READ AS SOMEONE ELSE Slide the lens in the bar to see your library the way Family, Friends or Everyone sees it. A page read as a circle marks where a passage they do not read was cut. Readers shows every circle as a map of who reads you. EVERYTHING YOU'VE MARKED, TOGETHER Bookmarks lists every highlight, attachment and remark in your library. A CALENDAR AT THE SIDE A month in the sidebar on iPad and Mac, a week at the top on iPhone. INVITE WITHOUT A NAME Share a circle's own link with people you can't name yet, and answer a remark right where you read it. AND - New faces for the page: Literata, Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, IBM Plex Mono and Caveat. - Pages and books can open read-only.

FAQ

What is Diaryx?

Diaryx is a digital journaling and document management application designed to securely store, transcribe, annotate, and share important life documents. It focuses on archival-grade provenance and data integrity, ensuring your files remain accessible and trustworthy.

How does Diaryx ensure data integrity?

Diaryx employs techniques like 'fixity' checks, which record a fingerprint of each attachment to detect damage from drive failures or bad syncs. Entries are kept in a content-addressed history, and users can switch content checksums to 'all' in settings for enhanced integrity.

Can I share my documents with others using Diaryx?

Yes, Diaryx allows you to share documents through 'Circles.' You can mark pages with circles like 'family' or 'friends' and share a filtered view. Invited readers do not need an account or app, only a link.

What are the benefits of Diaryx Plus?

Diaryx Plus is a subscription service that offers enhanced features such as sharing up to 50 circles, publishing up to 10 sites, and using custom domains. It also includes 100 GB of storage and larger file size limits compared to the free tier.

Does Diaryx have ads?

No, Diaryx does not have advertisements. The core functionality of writing and reading in Diaryx is free and does not require a subscription, and the text you write never counts against storage on any plan.

How often is Diaryx updated?

What platforms does Diaryx support?

Diaryx is available on Mac, iPhone, and iPad, making it accessible across Apple's ecosystem for managing your digital archive.

Is Diaryx suitable for young children?
