Not able to use the app

I signed up on the app, went through the Know Your Customer process, and for some reason it didn’t go through. I had to email Josh to find out what’s going on and he eventually said there might be an issue with the KYC provider and he would get back to me once he heard from them. I never heard back, so I deleted my account.

Great physical-backed collectible marketplace

I’ve been using Dibbs for over a year now and the app and marketplace are solid to say the least. Huge variety of sports cards and other collectibles all backed by the real thing.

Scam

Says I can cash out with chase but when I go to link my bank account I’m met with please update app to link. Everything is up to date…chase is acceptable…yet it tells me to link my account after I update. Then there is the USDC cash out which is on like 5 chains that are low level “stable coins” not eth or flow or bitcoin. Then there the wire transfer which needs $15 fee. Don’t use this. I only lost money on it after making like $5 for this scam then proceeded to lose it on a rookie card of one of the best players in the MLB right now lol. Give me my money

One star until you change sign up or login

Let me ask you rocket scientist something who is in charge of UI over there? Every single time you open the app because it won’t save your login information it has do you wanna sign up you have to click through the sign up over to login every single time you open the app. Hey Eugen uses you only sign up once you’ll login every time you use the app maybe that should be the easy convenient one to get to. One star for you until you fix this nonsense

Talk about consumer-friendly!

Seriously, Dibbs got it right. Huge fan of the product and the app allows users to explore markets, manage their assets and analyze trends in a very aesthetic and easy to use way. Good stuff!

Horrible company

They don’t require any documentation to take your money. Then there are fees for everything. The cards appreciate for weeks until you buy then they depreciate every single day until you sell and then they appreciate in price. Total scam. I left the cards alone for several months and not 1 day did the price go up. I can understand if it went up and down and up and down. It never went up while I owned the cards. Legit scam. Do not down load. They connect to your account to take the money and when you go to withdraw they can seem to find your account and then after fight for over 3 hours they have a fee and then they require documentation for taxes. Well I lost money so who cares. Give me my cash you scammers! I hope they see this and realize they have been busted.

Something isn’t right.

They require a social security number and a drivers license. I’ve NEVER seen a NFT site that asks for that much information. They claim it’s to prevent “fraud”. Sorry, I don’t buy that. The only fraud is this company who wants to collect social security numbers & possibly sell your information.

Dibbs Review - Do Not Get This App

I had a really bad experience using Dibbs. I’ve tried out a lot of different FinTech apps, including multiple alternative asset apps, and I would say there’s three reasons this is one of the worst I’ve used.

1. There’s isn’t enough volume on this app that make trading on here make sense. Asset values are totally random. It doesn’t matter if the card is below retail price, or if it should go up in value based on the real market. Prices only move based on a very minimal trading volume. You’ll notice almost every asset depreciates daily, besides a select few, if the asset moves in price at all.

2. There’s a fee for everything on this app, and it takes a major toll on returns, especially when asset prices hardly move. There’s a fee for bank transfers, buying assets, and selling assets. I had a small portfolio just to try the app, and the fees on here alone brought my portfolio down 20%.

3. Finally, the user experience isn’t great. Yes, the app looks nice, but it is still very clunky. Logging in is annoying. Buying and selling assets is clunky and doesn’t make sense in certain aspects. Overall, not a great user experience.

Unless you're just signing up to get the card bonuses, I would not recommend trying out this app. Even the card bonus won’t amount to much after trade fees and the fee associated with taking your initial deposit out. I would recommend Rally if you’re looking for a collectible trading platform. Do better Dibbs.

Still Not Registered

I put in all of my information, including my driver license which I was a little hesitant to put in in the first place, and I still have not been registered several weeks later.

Very disappointing experience so far, having put in all of that information - it’s been almost a month and I still have the “Your Registration is Being Processed” screen on my home page.

Great app, makes collecting more fun

Dibbs is a great app. It let me reconnect with a hobby I love. Now I can actually buy the cards I always dreamed of owning.

Cashout options

I have invested in two cards a rookie Joe Burrow and a Rookie Cooper Kupp card both of which have gone up in value a great deal. For an app that deals with transactions a great deal you’d imagine they’d have more than two options on how to withdrawal your money after selling assets. However, if you their payment company being plaid doesn’t have your bank. Than be prepared to pay a $15 wiring fee. It’s funny how you can deposit money via a credit or debt card but unable to withdrawal that way or even with a routing or banking number. Their customer support replies instantly and always says, “that is an option our developers are working on” however the developers seem to be working blindfolded. The only customer support representing is a guy named Josh that has to email the developers as if he’s some third party customer service hire. This app has fishy written all over it, it’s essentially buying and selling an NFT just a portion of a card that you can psychically possess and if you do you’ll have to pay a big up charge from the company that holds the cards. More than the card you bought in full is worth. You’d be better off investing in stocks, crypto, or using your money to start a fire.

Scammers

I put 25$ in just to see how this app works then tried to pull my money out (4mounths ago) and they said my account was frozen my debit card works no problem so everything is on the apps end if u wanna be scammed the download this app

Shady App

App isn’t what they display, I able to register for an account and have been waiting for weeks. App has been reported to Apple Store for fraud and I’m awaiting a response from them— they’ve recorded my report and I have evidence. Good luck!

They blame everything on developer or the finance service they use!

I cant even count on my fingers and toes how many times I tried to cash out or delete my banking info and everything else like recieve my promo pack. Each time you chat with support ill give them a star because they always respond but thats as good as it gets. Its always josh? Which is wierd when you describe your issue like one time I had trouble cashing out and I said it would let me get to the final screen to receive my payment and it wouldn’t go through so support said let me drive and all he did was go to the side and try to cash out the same way and you said oh I think there’s some kind a problem like a glitch must be on our developers team side and he kept saying developer so I said do you actually work for the company? Because he said he had to email the developer and tell him to fix the issue which is super weird and then anytime you’re having a problem with money they always say oh we must be on the finance side it’s a different company that we use which also makes no sense. So it brings me to the realization that they do nothing the developer made the app and the banker pays the people that use the app so what is Dibbs actually do? I have no idea. When I had the issue cashing out of course the side that deposits didnt have an issue going on. I can’t put my finger on it but something shady is going on it just seems too weird.

Very glitchy app

It doesn’t pull any payments into the account and keeps taking me to the register again screen even though I have already created an account

Money Pit/ Unable to Cash Out

This app and the idea behind it is great. The only issue is, you cannot sell your card when the market is up. No problems selling the promo cards they give you when you get started, but the cards that I actually spent money on and looks to be up in value cannot be cashed out. You’re much better off buy and trading stocks and cryptos. This app seems somewhat shady. Perhaps they inflate the value so you’ll want to hold on to the card and they don’t have to cash you out, but once you’re ready to cash out, maybe they don’t have the funds to cover… just my guess. Don’t waste time and money on this app. Read the other reviews which report similar issues.

Great for sports fanatics!

Love this product! I’m already addicted and highly recommend to any sports card enthusiast.

Great platform

Terrific concept, just needs more users to flourish. Very profitable right now if you’re patient enough to wait for people who are bored or need money to sell their stakes at market price.

Needs work

Great concept and idea but needs work and I recommend them adding cheaper cards for a wider audience of users.

Don’t try it

Absolutely DO NOT recommend trying to use this platform. Your account fluctuates without any rhyme or reason and there’s no basis to the system. With a $15 withdrawal fee, my $100 initial investment quickly turned to $20 and made it to where my withdrawal would be $0. With investing in some of the biggest names, your money disappears without a trace. 0 stars.
