Nice dice nicer

Sound would be nice. The option to have a digital d6 would be nice. Also custom dice numbers would be nice.

Any plans to update?

Great APP. Any plans to update it. Been 3 years since last update.

Worse than their older Nice Dice app

This app is clunky, with terrible functionality compared to their Nice dice app. It’s like going from a PC today to a Tandy 1000 and saying it’s better. If you feel the need to lose $2, just go light it on fire as it would be better than this application. How do you make a new version of a good app worse??? Update nice dice and fire whoever made this thing.

Response from developer

Hello Ghostnutz. I'm glad you liked my old Nice Dice app and sorry you didn't like this new one. I wanted to do things a little different in this one, which I guess didn't suit you. Good thing you can keep using the other app if you liked that better since this is a different app and not an update to the old one. I'm sure you can request a refund so you can get your $2 back for this one.

Love It

Fantastic fun!

I don’t get it

What exactly is this app for? It’s not a game, just customizable dice. What do you use them for?

Response from developer

Well, like it says in the description this app is just simulated dice. You can use them just like you would physical dice, in case you don't have any physical dice around.

Perfect

Exactly what I was looking for. Customizable with different types of dice that you can combine or use at will. 1, 2, 3 or more dice to throw, does not matter it all is covered.

Dev(s), great work!

Great dice

I like all the different dice I can use. It would be cool if there were more stones to choose from.

Da Best!

Use this dice app 3 or 4 weekend a month. Risk & D&D. Awesome.

On occasion one dice is tricky to select at bottom of screen. This app is close to perfection for options, saves, sound effects, and reliability.

What I’d like to see to make my review 5 Stars.

First off, this is a beautiful dive app, more than worth the asking price.

Some things I’d like to see:
-Custom dice groups (for example, a set of one white D6 and four red D6 on a one-touch button).
-Customizable dice (I’m working with an idea that needs an 8D with a range of 0 to 7)
-Odd number dice (such as a D3 using a D6 with duplicate 1-3 ranges, or a D5, using a D10 with duplicate 1-5 ranges).

Keep up the good work.

Very Nice!

Easy to use and customize. Very reliable.

Beautiful dice rolling app

The graphics are great: worth 4.5 / 5
Opalescent dice would have earned 5 / 5 but are missing from the app.

The physics are amazing and the dice behave true to life.

The history feature is also useful.

I recommend this app. It is well done graphically and the physics are accurate. The variety of different colours, materials and backgrounds are beautifully presented and rendered.

My wish list:

There is no way to roll opposing dice on the same roll and see mixed results. For example two different colour d20s. The red one shows 13 and the green one shows 12 which is reported as 25.

Also as a truly minor issue, I would like a variety of faces for the coin that is available.

Nice Dice is better. Update Nice Dice.

Nice dice is better. Why did you make this? And where is the percentile die? Why not just update Nice Dice? I am a Nice Dice app user. It better.

Response from developer

I'm glad you like Nice Dice, and you can keep using it if you want to. But we wanted to do something new and more flexible, especially allowing full freedom in combining dice types and materials and adding a better roll history. Did you try out the more recent versions or the app? Percentile dice are now in along with a lot of other requested features like dice size and speed settings.
