And amazing accessibility tool

that’s an amazing tool and a good price. The subscription is affordable and it allows me to do what I need to do. I didn’t have to upgrade to the pro version because I definitely use more than 2000 words per month. I haven’t needed to upgrade any further so far, but if it keeps working this well, we’ll see, especially in the coming months with me traveling for nonprofit organization organizational events. This is an amazing tool and I recommend to anyone who dyslexic who needs the assistance like this. It works very well.

Thanks — battery life matters a lot for a dictation keyboard, so I’m glad DictaFlow is feeling lighter there. I’m continuing to tune speed, accuracy, and background behavior with every update.

Smooth sailing on MacOS

I've been using DictaFlow on my iMac and MacBook and have found the utility to be reliable, fast, and accurate.

Much better than Wispr flow

Incredibly accurate and useful dictation keyboard. So much more accurate than Apple dictation or Wispr flow. Would highly recommend. This is my most used app I have. Generous free tier as well.

Just get this if you do any voice to text!

I just started using Dictaflow, and I have to say, this is awesome. It speeds up all my computer time when I'm on Claude doing Vibe Coding and other voice-to-text commands. Now, I do almost all my voice-to-text on text messages using this. (Apples voice to text is garbage now)

Like I said above, if you do any voice to text, you have to try this out and the pro level is so worth it! Just try it.

Love this — that Claude / coding workflow is exactly one of the use cases I built DictaFlow for. Really glad it’s replacing Apple dictation for you, and thanks for mentioning Pro too.

Easy to use and quick

I was looking into Dicta Flow as an alternative to WhisperFlow, and I haven't been disappointed. There was a bit more setup involved, as I had to create a custom prompt, but using AI has helped me shape Dicta Flow into what I want it to be.
It’s not perfect but it’s definitely still usable and does what an AI voice keyboard is expected to do

Thanks for the thoughtful review. You’re right that custom prompts can take a little setup, but they’re also where DictaFlow gets much more personal to your workflow. I’m working on making that setup smoother.

Great voice to text app

Awesome app, super easy to use, totally changes the way that I use my phone in my desktop computer. Very reasonably priced.

Maybe it’s just me…

Every time I try to tap the microphone to speak, it takes me to a screen that says, "Dictaflow is ready." Then it takes me to a settings screen, and I have to hit the back button to get back to the message I was trying to write.

I'd like to be able to hit the button and start talking, but that's not how it works on the iphone.

On the laptop, it's great. I've checked all the settings and everything seems to be in order, but the app keeps putting up this splash screen and the settings, which makes it nearly useless.

It's way faster to use the regular iPhone dictation than this app. Hopefully, it gets better. If someone from Dictaflow can help me figure out whether I'm doing something wrong, I'm happy to change this review.

Thanks for the detailed note — you’re not doing anything wrong. On iPhone, Apple requires DictaFlow’s keyboard to open the DictaFlow app when the recorder needs to reconnect. After it says “DictaFlow is ready,” swipe back to the app you were typing in, then use the DictaFlow keyboard there. To reduce how often this happens, open DictaFlow → Settings → Keyboard → Mic Auto-Off and set it to 1 hour or 4 hours. That keeps the recorder alive longer in the background. I know this flow is annoying — it’s an iOS keyboard limitation, not how the Mac/Windows apps work. Email me at ryan@dictaflow.io and I’ll help get it working smoothly.
