Keyboard functionality is unmatched - so versatile (texting, taking notes, texting).I’ve tried several dictation apps and this one requires the least amount of manual editing afterward.

It’s now become part of my daily workflow!

Excellent app!

I've tried many TTS apps and I'm happy to finally be able to say I've found THE ONE! This app is well structured and you can tell the devs really spent time on it. I find myself using this app more and more every day. I'm grateful for the devs as I can tell they're invested in their product which gives me relief as there's nothing worse than loving an app and having unresponsive devs! Thanks so much and keep up the wonderful work!

Not what I was expecting

It doesn’t connect to any other apps or work in the background - the transcribing seems good (happy to change this review when it feels worth the money)

Broken flop app

Downloaded this app on a recommendation in a forum. Wowee. Don't know what that commenter was thinking.

This app took forever to download a tiny 200MB default model. No matter what model is downloaded, it can't even generate a transcript. Not after three seperate recordings. It spins and loads forever and ever and ever and ever and doesn't generate a transcript. I'm particularly boggled by this as I'm on an M1 iPad Pro. My M1 MacBook Pro can run incredibly fast and accurate transcription models. Why should an iPad app harnessing the same chip’s power be so lethargic?

The app doesn't even have a button to re-attempt the transcript generation.

I thought, okay, fine. Let me see if I can save the voice recording to the files app so I can transcribe it with another app. When I click select the file and click save, the app crashes.

For an app that claims to do local AI summaries plus so much more, it's crazy that it can't even do the simplest thing: generate a transcript. The audacity to charge $100 and more for full access is so laughable.

I'm going to stick with my current mobile app, which cost $6 and actually works. Thank you, next.

By the way, if the app was functional, I absolutely would have bought the lifetime license. Alas, just saved myself $100.

My review?

Honestly I’m not even really sure how I came across this app. I’m pretty sure I saw a Reddit post where the developer dropped the link. Then I impulsively bought the lifetime membership at 1am while my baby was crying. I have tried a number of voice to text AI apps, and I am still learning how to use this app and the best way for my workflow personally, but I like this app much better than any other I have used in this category. Keep it up. It’s more difficult nowadays to find a quality product and this one is definitely a quality product.

Finally, one app that replaces ten

Honestly, I've tried many voice recording and AI note‑taking apps, but this one is different. It combines so many tools in one place: voice recorder, transcription, AI that summarizes lectures and meetings, and a smart keyboard. It works perfectly even offline. Now I have everything without needing five other apps. Highly recommend it.

Excellent helper for meetings!

DictaWiz is my favorite assistant for meetings and it summarizes the meetings in key points, action items, decisions instantly. Also changing the format and polishing is a breeze. Thank you DictaWiz team and keep up the good work!

Unusable

This app is unusable. Trying to use it for dictation. Makes it switch apps back to its main app instead of dictating in something like messages or the App Store. I can’t even use it to write this review because it keeps switch back to its main app. Waste of $30 completely.

Sorry about your experience. The switching to main app is an iOS issue with all the third-party voice-to-text keyboards. If you leave the microphone connected, you won't have to switch back and forth to the main app. Alternatively, you can set an action key shortcut to quickly dictate something to keyboard and paste it in any app directly. Your lifetime offer also gives you access to the MacOS app. I hope you will give that app a chance.

Great app and very responsive developer

I've been using this for a few weeks and so far I'm loving it. There were a few bugs that I've reported to the developer and he fixed them quite fast. So giving it 5 star because overall it's great and if there's a huge potential in it.

Best AI Dictation App

This is hands down one of the best dictation apps I've used in a long time.

I've tried WhisperFlow, Willow, Voicedash, BleepAI, and many others. There's the new Google's Edge Eloquent as well, but this app outperforms all of them, and you can use the on‑device models for transcription, which are quite accurate.

If you want AI polish, you can do that as well. You can bring your own keys, too. There are so many things you can do with this, and it's improving with every iteration.

I think this app has a lot of promise. With time, if it becomes more polished and the UI keeps improving, there will be no other contender against this app. I really recommend it to anyone who is seriously thinking about using a dictation AI app.

Good App

I like this App . The transcript playback with word highlighting is nice — way easier to review than I expected.

Also the app feels pretty polished already. I do think the watch side could be even better, especially for more standalone use.

Anyway, nice work.

Fantastic!

I love this app! I used to be a user of Voicenotes and ideaShell, but this app is much better than both of those. I was happy to go for the Lifetime Pro version. This app is full of great features and the developer is very receptive to feedback. Easy 5 stars for me.
