App stopped working
I was super excited about Diem when it first launched and loved using it. I even chose to invest through the wefunder campaign. However, shortly after the app stopped working for me completely. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, checking for updates etc with no luck, when I ask the ai a question it just keeps thinking and never loads an answer.
The worst part is that I’ve reached out to support 2-3 times in the last year with no response at all. I’m so disappointed, I made a small investment in this app and I can’t even use it or get a response from the team. If you can get the app to work for you then it is a great space. Had I not had these issues I would have definitely given 4 stars.

App AI mode doesn’t work
Love the vision for the app! It has worked for me in the past well. I didn’t use it for a while though, and I’ve tried a few times in the past few months. The AI feature is just-non fuctional - it’s always stuck on the ellipsis.
I really want to love this app
I love the concept of the community and the app but idk what is happening of the background of the app i was literally just scrolling for less than five mins and was leaving a comment on a post and it completely overheated my phone to the point the app force closed itself and i had to turn off my phone and cool it off like it was HOT if that gets fixed id be opening to being a user but that was really bad

Not working
Randomly stopped working a few weeks ago. No information from the company or reason why.
APP THINKS ITS 2023 have screenshots
The app kept coming up with so many links that didn’t go anywhere anymore so I asked what year they thought it was and it said 2023 and thought I was having some sort of crisis because I “believe” it’s 2025 and Trump is President and Elon Musk got access to all of our private information after getting there. Gave five stars so maybe people will see this

What a wonderful community
I found Diem via an add on Instagram but Im SO grateful I did! I love that the girls/gays/theys can post whatever they want and it can be both a silly and giggley time, OR a difficult and honest question/answer space for someone who needs advice. Community is all we got, so Im grateful to have this one 💜

Safe space for big sister advice

Confused
I get notifications , but when i click one that interests me it just takes me to the app, I can never find the thread I clicked on. So it’s hard for me to stay on it. Trying to leave this review before I give up and delete

It’s so helpful when I have questions and worries it’s so nice to hear from people that I don’t know to give me non biased advice and and not to hear from the internet or ai it helps because ik someone must have gone through what I have gone through before

I really want to like this app, I’ve been using it for a while, but there are so many bugs that make it not worth it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve written posts and then because I accidentally tap somewhere on the screen it closes everything I’ve written and erases it all. I’ve written the same posts three or four times before finally just giving up because the app shuts down because I paused to think about what I’m going to say next and my phone goes to sleep, or I go to click “post” and don’t tap it exactly in the middle and all I’ve written is now gone. I also get notifications about something someone posted, and it’ll sound interesting but when I click the notification it just takes me to the main page and I can’t find that particular post. I keep deleting the app, then trying it again, then remembering why I deleted it in the first place. I think it has the potential to be great, but please fix the basics.

Want to love it
I really want to love this, but it is clearly not made for my age group. All of the suggested topics focus on sexuality and menstrual cycles. There is more to us than that! And my searches haven’t shown things that are relevant to me- but i know I’m not the only one looking for support in this political and social climate. Please keep working on it to make this space friendly and useful to those 35+.

Keeps crashing
Trying to create my profile but the app keeps crashing!

Love the idea of this app. Can’t actually use it because every time I try to set up my profile the screen goes black when I hit save and just stays like that until I restart the app. None of my changes are saved. Might try again in a few months if updates are made. Open to any other feminist alternatives to meta in the meantime.

Great concept and mission
Giving it 5 stars despite the lagging so it ranks higher - think lag might be from the (very cool looking) metallic loading graphic/animation? I’m sure they’ll get it fixed. 👏

A wonderful community
This is really like girl reddit and chatgpt! I love crowdsourcing info and Ive read a lot of supportive, uplifting and HELPFUL comments from the girls, gays and theys whenever someone is having issues and needs advice or support. It seens to be growing quickly and they keep updating the app so its running smoother but I really like the community 💜

I really want to love this app, but there are so many little things that are frustrating. Like responding to posts: if I respond to someone’s post, someone can respond to my response, but I then that’s it. I can’t comment back. If there’s a reason for litter comments, I understand, but can we at least have a little back and forth? Also private messages. Why don’t we have those? I feel like we could have more in depth discussions that feel like talking to real people, but the app is limited. I think it’s a good start though. Wish I had it when I was young.

Hi! We're sorry you find the threading experience frustrating, we're working on making the threading experience have more layers - so you can go back/forth better. You can actually respond again, the UI is just a little confusing (we're fixing it!), if you click the Respond button under the original comment, it will reply to the person. We don't have DM'ing for moderation and safety reasons, when we roll it out in the future we want to be super sure we can protect everyone, as a team of women we know how negative DMs can be and we don't want people to have that experience here. We also want to make sure other people can benefit from the wisdom being shared in conversations and it's not locked behind closed doors as it currently is in group chats, hence why DM'ing has been lower on our priority list.
