Does not work
All empty fields
Poor!! I can take a photo and get a roast type! App does connects but data does not come to phone.
App shows not connected when device is connected under bluetooth , what a waste of money!!
Very disappointing
Just bought a new Omix and the app is completely useless, except for updating Omix unit. Putting in the green bean information is time consuming on a iPhone app, the sync process wired once, added a roast bean to a color profile and nothing updated the bean profile. No way of deleting history or mistaken tests. I thought this would be a great companion to store data collected. No way to save information as file or print. Has all these nice graphics, put are pointless if I have to write down all these nice graphics info into a log book, along with the test number, if I come back to it. For the money, wished I waited.

Privacy concerns
This app requires user’s location to connect to any device, which is totally unreasonable. Other than collecting user’s privacy, I can’t think of any better reason to do that. I’ll just pretend my scale is a dumb one (which is fine) and purge this garbage app from my phone.
Does not work as expected
As previous comment states this app does not work with iPhone 15 Pro. Bluetooth connects to R2 but will not sync the data. App does not show “Test” button and when pressed from the R2, will not load readings. Please troubleshoot your app with 15 Pro.
Update: the app is not very intuitive and the year old you-tube videos do not match the most recent version. A brief instructional guide would go a long way to explaining how to use this app with all the different features.
To get started you need to start with Brew and name the first entry. Then when you tap on the TDS field, the Testing option displays and it’s possible to test from the app.

Clunky data workflow
The omnibus a great device but using the app to collect and record data is horrible. I would rather be able to take data on the device only and enter it into a spreadsheet. Using the app is slow, and not intuitive.
App does not work.
I downloaded the app and tried to creat account. It sends a code through email to enter. The email comes right away and I immediately enter the code and it says it’s expired. So I cannot use the app. Garage. Do not buy this product and expect to it work.
Issue
Can’t login to my account with error code 1000
Works really well with the hardware
I have the full hardware setup - scale, R2, and Omni - and the app is great with the product. I hope DiFluid continues to invest and improve the app
Good start, but needs better UX
The app is ok, but some parts are overly complicated.
For example, adding a grinder you have to manually set different grind settings. Just allow a blank field that allows you to input standard settings (for instance, if I’m using an EK let me put 8.2, or if I’m using a Vario; 6E etc.)

Frustrated
I have the the DiFluid R2 after upgrading from the R1. The app is currently unusable for me on an iPhone 15 pro. It seems now to require the scale to enter the yield and I have no controls in the UI to zero or start a test on the R2. It connects and receives the tds when using the on device button but since it won’t even do the extraction calculation unless you buy the $100+ scale there is no point to it. The app is trying to be too much and not doing a good job at anything.

Does not work on iPhone 15
This app worked fine on my iPhone 11 Pro Max but won’t run on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
I hope they update this soon!

Confusing
Used to be able to understand how to use the app for recording TDS. Now it has become more complicated to navigate and glitchy with data entry. Not as pleasant as it once was.
Really useful app
The is a really useful app that does exactly what I need it to do when using the refractometer (I don’t have the scale, yet). The UX isn’t totally intuitive, so there was a little frustration at first in finding how to actually get a refractometer reading into the app (tiny button on brew page). But once I’d worked it out, then the design has turned out to be quite sensible (just needs better labelling). I see there’s lots of updates and the app is being polished, so I’m sure such issues will be ironed out with time.

Not ready for release
Im sure this ap will work when all the updates are complete…spent a ton of money and have yet to be able to use it consistently due to constant updates. Should have kept it on the bench till it was ready.
Can’t reset password
Keeps saying “failed.”
Amazing app BUT
Guys, you are doing well with them all, but unfortunately, the latest version is still not sound. There is still some issue with it.
I would love to see putting a new grinder, like key grinder or mc4, as well as the decent espresso machine.
Plus, it will be great to have a guideline for TDS for beginners

Easy to use, intuitive and professional
This app is helpful
They get it
I’ve downloaded a lot of these types of brew helping apps in the past, and they always have the same problem. They’re clunky, poorly designed, and have features that seem cool on the surface, but are way too specific and don’t work well in practice. They’re always the kind of app I use two or three times and never come back to.
While this version of the app is rather basic, it’s still well thought out. The design is simple but has all the features I need, and it works smoothly.
I’ve heard they’re planning to make a lot of new upgrade in the near future and I’m genuinely looking forward to it because it feels like they’re going to do it right. Fingers crossed!
