About
Dig Hazard is a retro arcade puzzle game about digging through ancient caves, dodging falling boulders and collecting every gem before the tomb closes in. Inspired by the cave-digging classics of the 80s — rebuilt in crisp pixel art with a chiptune soundtrack.
HOW IT WORKS
Every site is a cave grid. Dig through dirt, and whatever rests on it starts to move: boulders fall, statues topple, rocks roll. Collect the gem quota, find the exit — and don't be under anything when it drops. Only falling objects can hurt you, so every death is a puzzle you can solve next time.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• 100 hand-built excavation sites, from open dirt to mummy-guarded tombs
• Two archaeologists to play — Jack and Jacklynn — with costumes and tools to unlock
• A museum that fills up with the artifacts you carry out
• Content packs with new hazards, motifs and relics to recover
• Swipe or D-pad controls, made for one thumb
• A deterministic cave engine: the same moves always give the same result, so you can learn a site and master it
FOR PLAYERS WHO REMEMBER
If you grew up on cave-digging arcade games — boulders, diamonds, one more try — this is that feeling with modern controls and a lot more traps. If you didn't, it's a puzzle game where the physics is the puzzle.
Dig Hazard is free to play, with optional purchases and a Tomb Pass.
