Lacking

Thanks to Reddits crappy treatment of Apollo and others, I walked away and thought Digg might be a new place for me. Nope. I’ve tried it for over a month and, although some of the content is interesting, it lacks the ability to engage me longer than 10 minutes before boredom sets in. And no back button??? Seriously? It’s actually seriously frustrating. Overall it’s clumsy to use and poorly designed. I feel like it was a high school kids first attempt at designing their own app.
I rarely look at it anymore, and now that I’m reviewing it… I realize I just need to delete it off my phone and move on.

No way to swipe back to main feed???

After clicking a link to read, there’s no way to swipe back to where I was in the feed. No back button either. I’m forced to quit the app and start over.

One star. App deleted.

There is no back button

How can you surf content of a site without a back button? Example: Scroll down the main page until you find something interesting, click the article and read, now go back………you can’t, you have to press the DIGG logo and start the scrolling from scratch. It’s a terrible design.

App needs to be shut down.

Whoever wrote this app has absolutely no common sense. You can tell by some of the articles he’s chosen (Being against scientific debates? Science is about debates) but more importantly, they is no back button after you select an article. So you have to hit the “digg” icon and start all over.

Cannot login

Only has social sign in and then tells you it can’t sign you in!

With everyone dropping Reddit… might want to update!

With Reddit being greedy and killing off third party apps, there will be a migration back to Digg…. Y’all might want to refocus your efforts and make this app useful again. Don’t be Reddit. Don’t be greedy trash and you’ll come back from the depths.

Can't even log in...

Okay the 1.4 stars rating makes sense

“I used to love her…”

Like others have said, it used to be a great app. Its so bad that I’m writing my first app review to warn you. This will be the oldest app I've deleted on my devices. I kept opening it to look for updates. It’s lack of functionality or usability make it total garbage. The website is still decent and I’ll still visit there when i want to read something not on mainstream news but this app is gone.

Used to be great

Navigating this app is a horror story. Would probably be an easy fix, but the developers / owners appear to have lost interest.

Had to quit using the app

The app used to be great. Something changed to where, now when I click on a story, there is no path back to Digg. It used to have a button to get back, but it’s gone now. Makes the app useless, unless you use it to read only one story.

Why Even Keep Adding Content???

Love Digg but you don’t even support the app. I’m sooooo confused as to why there is new content and absolutely zero app support. Feed this baby, it’s healthy but it can’t survive with a constant dirty diaper.

No back button

There’s no way to back out of articles back to the main feed except to kill the entire application. How did this get past QA?

Love the content, app is trash

I can’t even navigate backwards after reading an article. Better to just use the website.

No back button

There is no back button to navigate out of the articles. I must close the app entirely if I want to be taken back to the menu screen. This is terrible UX, please fix it. It is not a complicated fix, the back arrow probably just disappeared for the new models

Can’t Sign In With Google

Can’t sign in, Google gives me an error about Digg not using the latest updated ways to sign in with Google. Fix it!

Awful app with no thought to navigation

This app is so useless it’s worse than just using the website in a browser. For example, if you go to a subject like Tech and start scrolling down the feed of tech links/articles and click into one then there’s no way back to your position in the feed when you’ve finished your selected article, rendering sensible navigation impossible.

You can’t share articles

It would be fantastic if you could share articles so I could save them in pocket to read them later. As it is what if I want to send a link to a friend, tweet about it, or save it to read later? Currently the website is better for me.

Good content. Unusable UI

Digg does a nice job aggregating interesting news and content. But once you open anything, there is no way to go back to the feed. Can you add in a simple back-button???
Workaround is to close down the entire app and restart it. It’s been like this for at least a year. I give up and am deleting the app.

Can’t go back

As soon as you open an article, you can’t go back. You are forced to close the app to get back. Why????
