Digger Land helps you turn a real-world search into a clear map story: outline the ground you covered, organize outings as events, and pin finds with notes and photos—right on the map. Map the area you searched Walk your route and build a live search footprint as you move. See the covered area at a glance and switch map styles when you need more context—standard, satellite, hybrid, or terrain. Events that match how you work Create an event with a name and date, then focus on the hunt. Review your saved events, open one on the map, continue recording if you need another pass, and finish with a simple summary when you’re done. Log finds where they happened Drop a pin for coins, tools, jewelry, trash, and more—or mark your own custom find. Add optional notes, attach photos from your library or camera, and pick a marker style so the map stays readable at a glance. Built for field use Follow mode keeps the camera centered on you, and compass-style viewing can help you orient while you move. Location is used to keep mapping accurate while you record—including in the background when a recording is active, so your session isn’t interrupted if you briefly switch apps or lock the screen. Your data on your device Your lands, events, and finds are stored locally on your iPhone so your field notes stay with you.
