Love

I absolutely love the app. I have no complaints at all.

🙂

Simple but exercise has to be through apple health app

I like how cute and simple it is but it was hard to figure out how exercise minutes are sourced. It would be nice to be able to log those separately if we don’t have apple watches or don’t use other apps that sync exercise minutes to the Apple Health app. A future improvement that would make it more fun and interactive is to earn coins or points for completing goals/activities that can be used to purchase things for our digi buddy pets

Thanks for all the great feedback! I wanted to follow up because both of these features have since been added to DigiBuddy. You can now choose Apple Health syncing or manual logging for steps and exercise independently, making it easier to use DigiBuddy however you prefer to track your activity. Digi Coins have also been added and can be earned through gameplay. They can be spent on Care Center services like Digi Daycare and Digi Spa Days, or used to unlock new digis and backgrounds. I really appreciate the suggestions and support. Get those steps in!

Tamagotchi throwback

I already track my steps and exercise with my Apple Watch, but DigiBuddy adds the fun part I was missing.

Nice! Sounds like you're locked in.

Great

I just have a small suggestion. This is probably my fault, but could there be a place to look at what activates your increase in play because no matter what I seem to do I can’t get it to work. I’m not if I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or what

Thank you so much for the review! If you have Sync with Apple Health toggled on from the Care Center tab and have granted Health Access for Exercise Minutes, “Play” should mirror the exercise minutes you see in Apple’s Fitness app and Health app. For this, you need an Apple Watch or some other way to log exercise minutes to Apple Health.
You can check Health Access on your iPhone by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > DigiBuddy, and make sure Steps and Exercise Minutes are on. Alternatively, you can turn off Sync with Apple Health from the Care Center tab, then use the Add and Edit buttons on the Home tab to adjust your steps and exercise manually. Thanks for your patience as I work to make DigiBuddy better and more user friendly. Please feel free to reach out at johnsmithcoder1@gmail.com with any other issues or feedback. And great job taking action to get more steps and exercise in! 💪

Keeps me accountable for my steps

I definitely walk more because I want my cute digital pet to be happy 😆

Haha, well I know your digi appreciates it!

Cute fitness game

This game is very cute, easy to use and helps me stay motivated to get my steps and exercise in every day. It’s fun to get to change backgrounds and pets and level up as you hit your goals.
